I gotta keep my trap shut about it but I’ve now seen pics and got to hear about the specs. The S Works is going to absolutely change the industry. Many of the recent predictions about the power and battery sizes are close enough, if not 100% correct, but you guys are not thinking outside the box enough. Specialized is really coming out swinging this time….and that moc up pic is pretty accurate. The bike looks good.
So far I didn't read anything that sounded revolutionary. If only the S-Works would have a gearbox it would be kinda weird.

because its ALWAYS WITH VAT. why do you americans always forget that!? geez

US prices don’t include sales tax(the US version of VAT) because it varies from state to state, could be 5% in one state, 8% in another and 0% in another. They see the price and think there’s still sales tax added on top of that, therefore making it ridiculously expensive because there’s no concept of a set tax like VAT.

I’ve lived outside the US most of my adult life, I’m so used to VAT that I forget about sales tax. I’ve had some “whoa shit” moments at the register buying things in the US after they hit you with another $80-100 in sales tax🤣😂

It’s a 2023 model that was delayed 2 years
This my view also, for me I am looking for
Fast Charging
Latest gear and brake set
Looks like an SL, but slightly bigger were batt fits
29/29 with optional to go 27.5 on the rear.
22kg Max
New Motor with 110nm
Nice sparkling paint finish
A display like the AMflow

Oh no, looks like only s-works (and maybe pro) will come with a smart 12A fast charger, that's a bummer ...

To be fair to them, they are quoting a S4 and that is with axs, heavy hubs, heavy brakes, gravity tyres...

I think most builds will be within the 24 to 25kg range, which is fine for 100Nm and 840Wh, it just doesn't really set it a class above the rest.

Seeing as this conversation will get deleted, might as well mention the frame being rated for a 180mm fork is the most interesting aspect to me, bring back the LT rumours, probably a different link or maybe Spesh will just let people long shock it?

Would like it to be full 29er compatible, specs don't make that clear

More I see and hear the more I’m realising there’s nothing revolutionary about this bike , it’s a SL with a bigger battery and bigger motor, they really made such a effort to keep this under wraps , the BIG HYPE IS ITS BEEN WELL HIDEN
once It’s released it’s going to be like ummmmmmmm really all of that hiding embargo bull and that’s it
