How to do a firmware upgrade ?

Helllo
on my wifes Giant Dailytour (not an MTB but should not make a difference i think) i connected the bike to the Giant App but it is asking me to do a firmware upgrade.
"Your Giant ebike must be updated before you can use the ride control app"
I can then see a list uf possible upgrades but when i select one i have another message " Press walk assist button and press Assist plus button within 3 seconds"
i know what is the walk in button (under the control pad" but i have no idea concerning the Assist plus bottom
Any idea ?

Assist plus is the up button for changing power level.

Yep, press walk then up to confirm update, then it will do its update, make sure ph has enough charge for 5min while updating bike.

I see that there is an option to show on the display the time of the smartphone but also i activated the function on the app the time would still not show on the display..
any idea ?
