So what's the magic trick about ordering these? I've set a notification, heard their might be some in Soontober from CS. I tried calling 5 stores and no one in the bike departments pick up :/
I've read somewhere about having the original bushes resized but can't find the link again, as these are a very common fork maybe aftermarket may come up with somthink... Must be an opportunity for some fork specialists out there. ?Sadly not. These forks have no way of being upgraded.
hey Rob, how has the bash guard removal been working out? and what's your view on the reverse angle spacer a few guys are talking about as an alternative way to increase the frame height at the front?Well, what do you expect for £2699?! With the above mods it’s still well under £4K and I personally I can ride it faster than a bike twice the price (doesn’t look as good though ?)
no build thread but I did a YouTube video with some upgrades
Fast Suspension say they have a damper for the 35 Gold - not sure what's on the Stilus but as people have said, prob makes more sense to put the money towards a different second-hand fork.
The more i have ridden the fork the better it is getting, i know it is not plush like a charger damper fork, but it is a solid performer on the downhill steep sections. As i have said before in thread you need to make sure the top bush is well lubed, done just under 600 miles on fork now and it is smoothest it has ever been. I am still looking at replacing with a lyric, but i keep wondering if i really need to! I might take my pikes of my other bike and convert it to 29 mullet just to try it. Or do i just keep riding it LOL..Sadly that Fast damper seems to be a work in progress
The 35 Gold is an abomination by SRAM, not because of it's basic internals but because they designed it to be incompatible with anything else. Why not stick with their existing 0.5mm top cap threads? Well, no - peeps may just get strange ideas and stick a charger damper in there. Pffft.
Hello all, by the way.
Yes you could pike, yari, lyric or fox 36 will be upto the job.Could I get away with a non ebike specific fork? IIRC you run a Lyrik on yours Rob?
Thanks for the tip, mine is only still around 50 miles, hope it gets better also.....but I`m a totally begginer on bicycles, can you explain a bit how to proper lub the top bush? The more i have ridden the fork the better it is getting, i know it is not plush like a charger damper fork, but it is a solid performer on the downhill steep sections. Great info, thanks a lot, will do it at around 50 hours then!Lower leg service is what you need. Might be worth fitting the better SKF wipers at the same time? Soak the foam rings, lube the wiper, correct amount of oil in the lowers.
Or take it to your LBS mine charge £25 for lower leg service, but they do have top mechanic. Shit that looks so good with the red fork and the new rear springs. Fork a new purchase ? Can you link please ? The shot looks slightly contrived , did you style it with the red flowers on the floor ? ?
As a celebrity he has people who constantly throw petals at his feet. It's absolute chaos on a ride, but you always know where he's been. The shot looks slightly contrived , did you style it with the red flowers on the floor ? ?
Sounds like he should do an advert for hair conditioner while manualing through a rain forest ?As a celebrity he has people who constantly throw petals at his feet. It's absolute chaos on a ride, but you always know where he's been.
Hi @Rob Rides EMTB,

Pretty sure I took the rear wheel off and my Allen key fitHi @Rob Rides EMTB,
I am new to the Forum and just received my Stilus 2 weeks ago. So far I am quite pleased with everything.
I wanted to install a Supernova Mini 2 but I struggle with removing the bash guard. How did you get the 2 smaller Screws (backwards to the rear wheel)? The space is so small, I can't fit any allen key. Did you unpressurize the rear damper to get the wheel higher and increase the space in front of the screws?
I am happy to hear your solution.
Good luck for all the guys who are still waiting for their Stilus.
After a failed trip out to every local bike shop here to buy some the other day, I ended up using duct tape. 50mm. If you had 25mm that would probably be easier. I started about 5cm's before the valve hole, used a finger and thumb to press it down on the left and centre as I went round, keeping it tight. Finished 5cm's after the valve and cut the tape. Then worked my way round the right hand side making sure there were no creases. Pressed everything again, then trimmed the excess width tape with a knife. Seems to be working so far (on 38mm Kenevo rims).Anyone know the rim tape width for the Duroc wheels? Mine's leaking out of just about every spoke.
A tribute to his favourite movie, "Back To The Fuchsia"...The shot looks slightly contrived , did you style it with the red flowers on the floor ? ?
I did the same on some 40mm rims. Worked fine, even after snapping a(nother) spoke at BPW.After a failed trip out to every local bike shop here to buy some the other day, I ended up using duct tape. 50mm. Probably not rim tape needed.....most likely valve not seated correctly....ask me How I know.???????Anyone know the rim tape width for the Duroc wheels? Mine's leaking out of just about every spoke.
