Clicking/creaking after replacing e13 cranks with Shimano

Anyone else had this? I"ve replaced my e13 cranks after >2 years. axle was not cracked and seemed in good condition but iv'e not got a creaking sound. only happens while peddling so I think it is crank related. Took them off, cleaned and reseated and its started again after about 15 minutes. Cranks are tighten with a torque wrench

Probably not the cranks then. Creaking while pedaling can happen in all sorts of places. I suggest checking the linkage which creaks often.

I recently changed all my frame bearings thinking it was them that was creaking, ok they did need changing but that’s by the by, I went out yesterday and you guessed it, I still had the creaking, I finally discovered that it is my saddle, I’ve just bought a new one, not necessarily the same as your issue but another thing to check out mate

Yeah - saddle and especially seat tube is often causing creaks. I also had creaks on my rise from the zip-tie holding the rear brake line.

Check motor bolts and chainring lockring as well.
