I'm getting ready to upgrade my M510 from fc1 to fc 2.1, while in there i'm replacing the torque sensor too. Do you know if i can do both at the same time, or upgrade the controller first, calibrate it, then replace the torque sensor and calibrate it?Thats a good decision. M510 has also power adjustment support. Also with Assistance level %.
I see just a little change on controller board FC2.1 - few components are different or missing. So I guess some minor controller update.

I disassembled my motor, I can confirm the bearing is an odd size, and doesn’t seem available my bearing needs changing somehow its rustyHello, has anyone ever changed the motor bearings?
This is the list I found online, I have doubts about the torque sensor bearing, 22*42*10 60/22-10RS, it is not available on the market, has anyone disassembled it?

Is there no marking on the bearing?I disassembled my motor, I can confirm the bearing is an odd size, and doesn’t seem available my bearing needs changing somehow its rusty
You mean this one? That bearing is widely available on ALiExpress, do however take the seal out of them and fill with grease before you use it, it will stop a lot of the water ingress into the motor. Over filling is not an issue as its used as a very low rpm bearing ( effectively no more than 120rpm ). The odd size seal on that drive side is also available.

Cidi, sorry I just looked up my orders from AliExpress and the listing for that bearing is no longer there. I have to admit I didn't measure the 1 unit I ordered and are now wondering if it was supplied as a 9mm bearing ? Mmmm its in my engine and working lolCan you send me some links?
Yes there was, I had taken measurements and photographs but I cannot find either now!Is there no marking on the bearing?
Tried that already, they are not interested in Bafang engines as I would suspect by the time you add parts and labour + delivery, you can almost buy another new engine for that price, unlike the Bosch which are around £ 800 by memory and that is exchange.Seems like they know what they are doing. maybe You can offer your motor as a test piece - inform them there are numerous people who have Bafang motors that would benefit from being ‘upgraded’.
Are these 2RS bearings?Thats a shame, I like the idea of the olitite bearing and single lip seal. I have ordered 2 of the 22x42x9 bearings from AliExpress, need to look into the seals as well.
There is a more widely available 12mm wide bearing, is there enough room to push the seal out an additional 2mm ?
I just installed my new M510 FC2.1 engine (MMG522C3619F802005.1) and I have configured the modes like this, with a speed limit of 45km/h.
