Why would you like to go smaller then the standard 32T? Mostly people are increasing the size. @Thomas even increased it to 38.

why would anyone ever need a gear that big on mtb trails? that big of a gear is only useful on roads and fire roads.

Thomas his situation is different as I believe he uses the bike on tarmac mostly. Next to that he deristricted it. So the cadence becamo too high.

I was just surprised you would like to go smaller then the factory spec 32t as the bike already has so much torque. (at least for my feeling and usage)
