I've read elsewhere they will and some YouTube videos agree, so will it fit the gen 2 bike? Someone must surely know, Just the flappy flappy hoover doover on the frame is different.
Yes .. it fits .. I think I put a post in the "main" thread :) ..

Copied :

Good news on the battery. @Levo19 was correct, the main "battery" is the same. The bash/rock guard is different, so you just have to swap that over.

I guess this will mean that if you order an M2 in the future, it will come with the traditional bash guard and if you order the M3, it will come with the newer rock guard with the Aqua door.

Presumably as you can buy existing replacement rock guards, you'll also be able to buy replacement Gen3 rock guards at some point.

Or just stop being so tight and buy two bikes so you have a spare of everything already  ;)

The bike's expanded the envelope of what an "All Purpose"?!? bike can actually do.
How? What am I missing? They've finally caught up in the geometry stakes, and it's about time.
Spesh have always lead the way with integration, so that's not new.
Mullet/MX. Bin dun.
Flip Chip. Bin Dun.

Apart from the marketing budget, what makes this bike so special?

The Price ?

Out of the box specification and usability for people of any size (excluding weight limits) who want to use it for pretty much any purpose packaged so it's optimal on climbs and descents. (Do I get some of the marketing budget for that ?) :alien:

All joking aside, I wonder how much this will add to further "covid" parts/bike delays in Europe.

Or will the lull in ships arriving give all the ports chance to clear their incoming back logs so when the ships do finally arrived, they'll be processed quickly ?

Hey, all my positive posts have moved to the chit chat thread. I don't think this thread fairly represents peoples personal shopping habits or hormonal reactivity anymore ! [Insert EmoJi - Throws toys out of pram]
Yes, sorry about that Zimmer, I think you had more posts than anyone else moved.

To quote Steve :

not a true representation of what people think

Whilst they were very pretty, most people think cakes have nothing to do with the features of the GEN3 Levo. Ultimately, when people read the thread for the first time, they read the first page, don't see what they're looking for and skip to the end and ask the same question which has been asked 27 times already.

Like "Is it expensive" ? As a lot of people seem to be unable to work that out for themselves just based on a 5 digit price.

Therefore, for "Official" information type threads it's generally more helpful for everyone to keep them informative and on topic rather than be full of opinions/cakes/what first class flight I'd buy if I had £13,000 . These are more than welcome in the other "chit chat" thread.

At some point I will collate a lot of people's information and put it all together into one of the first page posts so it's easy to find.

We had a similar problem with the hugely popular Dengfu thread, which took two days to split into 4 more relevant/helpful threads.

I hope you understand. But one more cake and you will also be banned from the thread ;)

Hello,
Placed last week an order for a Levo expert 2022,
forgot the specs, I could see them at my LBS and thought this is OK
Now looking for the specs but can't find them anywhere.
Anyone has a link?

Negatives - the price. Is it worth all the cash? That’s for the buyer to decide.

Using an iteration of a motor that's been really unreliable. I'd see that as a negative. Over time, that could turn into a positive should the changes actually work. I bloody hope so because I'm still on an '18 bike and want a Spesh as an option when I replace it.

Does anybody know how to set a poll?
Would be good to see what you lust for vs what would you actually buy.

For a poll, you'd need to create a "New" post (top right, "NEW POST", pick your area or just goto your and start the post there.

Then scroll to the bottom and there's an option "start poll" or something like that. Think about it first as you can't edit a poll once it's started !

Wow, nice display. So many data fields.

Is there a mode which shows my negative bank balance and a real time map feature to show me how far the debt collectors are from me?

Presumably the bike will automatically switch to turbo mode when they are within 10 metres of my rear wheel?

Not making excuses, but the last S-Works was £12.5k...... Its the S-Works.

Did I see that the Expert was £8k? That's still a little punchy but the 2019 Expert was £7800.

All of the above is a lot to spend on a bike. You don't (or I don't) see that many S-Works around. I live in South Wales though.

Incorrect..... 2019 Expert was RRP £7,250. I bought one from Berks for less though ;-)

There are a lot of data fields possible on the TCU screen. Can all of these data be synced to a garmin edge 1030 pro, so i won't be needing a speed or cadence sensor or a powermeter?
Not that I was planning to put a powermeter on the bike:LOL:, but it would be interesting to see these data

My bad. I also purchased one, as you, for a different price. For some reason I got it burned into memory that the RRP was £7.8k

Maybe it was explaining to the wife what value and a good deal it was :D

Obviously, as with everything it’s subjective opinion but from your perspective having ridden both bikes would you buy this or the top spec Trek Rail 9? I have a 2020 Spec Turbo Levo Expert and just took delivery of a YT Decoy Elite. Thinking of selling the Spec and buying the new S-Works or the Trek, wondered what you would do in my shoes?

A mate texted me about the prices last night, I though the was taking the pash o_O
Specialized must be on crack, they've instantly alienated lots of potential customers with their crazy pricing policy.
Imagine the bike you can buy vs just the Levo frame alone, madness a tell thi
Someone got to pay for all the replacement browse engines they keep replacing ?

As you say it's subjective, so for you, assuming you've ridden the YT what do you prefer and dislike with regard to both those bikes in comparison ?

Well the main reason I bought the YT is I feel I bought the Spec in the wrong size. It is a great bike but I think if I had to pick one, I’d go with the YT. If the Spec was a larger size it would be a harder choice but still the YT...

To be more specific, the Spec climbs a lot better and has a real nimble feel to it but the YT just flys down stuff and ploughs over anything in its way. Spec has the tendency to be bucked around a but but that may be due to the smaller size.
