2023 U.S. spec Reign E+2 cuts power before 20 MPH

I'm in the U.S. and have a 2023 Reign E+2 with the SyncDrive Pro2 85Nm motor and 800w battery. This thing is supposed to be able to do 20 mph before cutting off, like my old Trance E+1 with 80nm motor, but I swear that once I hit approx 18 mph power is cut off or severely tapers off.

Anyone else experience the same thing? Is it a setting that an authorized dealer can adjust? I don't want to make any changes/mods on my own that will jeopardize my warranty.

Thank you.

I have no specific knowledge of your bike. Generally, the cut off point is calculated by the tire circumference and rotational speed. It's fixed in the firmware. The speed and mileage that you read are determined the same way, but are typically user-adjustable to compensate for different tires and pressures. So while one might assume and hope that the everything would come out exact, it probably won't. Additionally, the level of assistance is probably tapering off before you reach the cutoff.

You could trick your speedometer by telling it your circumference is greater. But that won't change the actual speed.
