hoping they bring the e+1 to NZ, i'd pretty much buy that tomorrow if it was about $10500nzd
i dont care about the colour, I'd put my xt brakes on, the rest would be fine.

Wow that is a huge bump from last years model!

AXS and battery being the main difference So those 2 items add over $2000nzd from last years model 🤔

Finally picked up the e+2 today. Looks great. Heading south next week to give it a couple of weeks of abuse.

Great looking bike, any chance you weighed the bike out of curiosity?

What are those things either side of the bottle mounts?

Range extender fits perfectly and the cord plugs in perfectly with room to spare. Having 1050wh this summer is going to be awesome for really long days.

I haven't weighed it as I don't have a decent scale and bathroom scales don't count. It does feel slightly lighter than my 2020 reign but I have pretty heavy tires on the '20. Very scientific:rolleyes:

I have bottomed the fork out a couple times on some severe g=outs. I probably need to add some tokens as Trailaddict advised. Only issue I have had with the suspension so far. Sag is set for my weight but do need some more progressive dampening on the fork.

If you never use full travel you are "over-forked" and have spent money for nothing 😂
It your fork doesn't have an adjustable high-speed compression damper, add tokens or have someone tune it to your match your weight and riding style.

Wonder if they are new range extenders for 2023 or if they rotated the plugs around on the bike as the range extenders on 2022 models pulled the cord like a piano string. Have you got a pic of the extender fitted please?

That was the one of the first things I checked. They must have changed the plug alignment as it now has plenty of slack. When I get a chance, I will take a pic. No need for it at the moment as I am trying to get rid of the winter blubber and can't even begin to use up the 800wh before I bonk.

Anyone know which derailleur hanger these bikes are supposed to use? Derailleur itself is Shimano Deore SLX, 12-speed, Shadow+.

Picked up a 2023 Reign e+ 2, I had setup the Fox Float X2 to 30% sag, but seems like I am blowing through that on chill stuff, should I increase the psi? Currently @ 210psi for 95kg rider with gear. Rebound set to 5. Any suggestions?

I have just got a reign e+ 3 and put fox performance elite suspension front and rear. Noticed the same thing on my first ride yesterday, currently have 2x tokens in my float x2 so am going to add a 3rd and see if the travel usage is more balanced.

I was at 215psi for 95kg rider. 20230624_123856.jpg

It's a float X not X2.
For 95kg, you should put 225 psi at least.
With 215psi and 85kg, i had to put a bigger volume spacer for a better middle stroke support.
0.4mm from factory, i went to 0.6mm
Volume spacers

Anyone installed the EDC tool on the Reign E2 2023?? Just watched Rob’s latest vid and keen on doing the same.

I've got a oneup edc on my bike but it's more about the forks than the frame? On a fox 38 you have to use the small storage tube and the funny star washer thing as the steerer is oval. Should be fine with Zebs as they have the huge 1.8" steerer.

I have the 2022 with a Float X: Added a volume spacer and running around 210psi for a 75kg rider, still bottoming out here and there but I often huck to flat...

I don't have an EDC, but the Hassle'off tool from milkit is amazing and fits neatly under a fidlock 450ml bottle: Hassle'off - milkit.bike. You will need to find the right length bolts or cut them as the giant bottle mounts are very shallow.

I'll take some pics of my on bike storage during the week now that my setup is finished.
