At first I also thought it might be the fork, but it really seems to be the headset.
I also had the little “crackers” once, but I got rid of them with copper paste.
That literally doesn't sound good. I have similar behavior with the CaneCreek 40 in the Pole Voima. With strong impacts there are “cracking noises” which are quite loud. I've already replaced it and regreased everything, but it hasn't helped yet.
Actually, as you write, the play should be...
It starts badly again before it really begins. How unprofessional it is to communicate via Facebook (I also do not have an account despite I'am an IT Pro). And not a word about it on the website, where it 100% belongs. Instead, you have to select the "Shipping Destination" every time you open...
This one very steep ascent to Fuorcla Crap Alf is a hiking trail with difficulty level T3. With a maximum gradient of 37%, you can assume that this is not easy - but with experience it should be doable. A hard piece of work for 400 m up.
With 750 Wh it should bi ok. I've done tours this lengt in the Alps using walkmode 2-3h. Walkmode consumes little Power.
PS: ... of course, that you are in good shape and have experience in the mountains.
In addition, possibly caused by the Cushcore in combination with low pressure, the bending radius when pressure is applied to the tire is smaller than usual and thus leads to the cracks shown.
The overrun time of xtended Boost lasts longer. This is very helpful when for Ex. climbing rock steps. However, you have to get used to it first when the motor is still pushing at full power for about 1-2 seconds without you pedaling. And it only takes a little kick to activate the extended...
With the App Update I had also an Update for the Bike System. Race mode on my Voima has now become even snappier. Apart from that, I haven't noticed any major differences, except for the freely selectable modes. But I was already happy with that.
The auto mode also made no sense to me and is a power guzzler. When I need power, eMTB and Race are enough for me. I had the auto mode replaced with the Tour mode. Now the whole thing makes much more sense to me.
Now running DT Swiss HX 1700 Spline after coming also from Mavic. These are made for rough stuff on eMTB. Very happy with it, quality is much more better.
I do ride in wet and muddy. Have not sealed anything so far. But yes, there is always a little dirt inside. After washing I remove the Batterie and clean all out incl. gently blowing out with compressed air. Same on charging Port. Then I spray a little Contactspray on it and blow it out again...
