Hi guys,
Still having problems with my M600... I've now been sent the BESST tool (without a login) to be able to calibrate the new controller they sent me, which should hopefully get rid of the violent shuddering at least. Does anyone know if there's a generic login (for example the login...
Thanks for the photo @dvng
Since this new controller has only made the problem worse, I figured I can install the original controller and hopefully get rid of the shuddering that occurs without having to calibrate. I have messed around with position of the magnet, sensor and types of screw for...
A few people have suggested this is the problem and I've spent hours trying different permutations of magnet placement, different screws, distance between sensor and magnet. I'm pretty certain the problem I have is deeper than this, but I'll try again. What do you mean by cheap plastic magnet...
Hi all,
Just an update on my situation and experience so far with the M600. I've had a problem where the display shows the incorrect speed. Mainly when pedalling up steep inclines, which leads to the motor showing that I'm riding at 60km/h (or similar) and the pedal assist cutting out. I sent...
...So I went out over the weekend and unfortunately the issue still remains. It's marginally better, in that it doesn't occur quite so often, but it's still a real issue. I've already switched out the sensor bolt to non-magnetic so that wasn't a fix for me. I've sent some more information over...
Thanks for all the feedback guys! I had previously tried moving the sensor / magnet for quite some time, trying different numbers of washers and alignment, all to no avail. Having seen all of your responses yesterday I thought I'd try again, initially I only managed to make it worse, weirdly...
Hi all, I have a similar issue with my M600 as some have mentioned on here, except mine has had this probably since minute 1. When travelling uphill and slowly the speed shown on my controller jumps around constantly. Whilst I'm actually normally travelling at around 8km/h, it skips from 8 to 30...
Thanks for the reply! I’m more wondering if there’ll be a problem with the larger 29“ tyre hitting the rear of the seat post , due to the increased compression of the shock (63mm instead of 55mm).
Hi @thaeber,
Looks great! Good to hear you managed to get the 216 x 63 to work. Thinking of doing the same but running a 29 rear on a 17,5" frame. Do you think there's enough clearance to make this work? Thanks!
There are a few numbers on the motor, it's not obvious which is the serial number. There's some on the underside of the motor and some on the underside on one of the fins on the side of the motor. Do you know happen to know which is the serial number? I asked melody if I would receive the latest...
Hi all,
A quick update on my experience with Dengfu / Bafang. My motor, battery, charger and a few other bits arrived yesterday. I have to say, somewhat unsurprisingly, everything looks of good quality. However, it seems as if the motor has taken an impact somewhere along the line (potentially...
