Another option is to use the ski boot dryer, if you have one, they take about 3 hours to dry my boots.

Last winter I ended up using berghaus goretex walking boots. Not ideal though, you don't get the same feel and feedback as five tens. At least my feet were dry and clean .

Why is it sad re the speed limit? I'm guessing that you are aware that if they want to do that, then it's all too easy just to buy a dongle or similar. Not everyone uses their bike on the road anyway.

I have used mudhugger on the rear of my Haibike and put old innertubes on the seatstays first. No cutting involved. Did the same on my Merida but had to cut and file it a bit.

Before you go down that route, are you sure your forks and tyre pressure are well set up. Even a few to many psi on either, can make a difference?

Whats that you have bolted it onto at the back?
