    Official Merida eOne-Sixty thread

Just been told by a Merida dealer that there will be a new Enduro focused model announced for next year. Some will be carbon and others will be Aluminium. Might see some pre production samples appearing around July. My guess will be the usual longer, lower and slacker along with increased...

The manager from Vitus was interviewed somewhere and claimed that they had fixed the dropper issue for 2019. Apparently not.

    Reliability

I have had a new motor after 7 months use and it was the usual W13 error code, which was the torque sensor. Have been told its the mesh that separates from it over time. Am now getting problems with the display going off and the motor cutting out but after moving the wire going into the display...

    Stronger Wheels?

Just as a footnote here, I have tried various other inserts and still managed to damage the rim. Bonus with the air liner is, that you can still ride it even if you lose all the air from the tyre.

    Stronger Wheels?

If you want stronger wheels, go for DT Swiss. But I suggest you get some vittoria air liners in any case as you will just trash your wheels anyway. I have been though 4 wheels in the past and learned the hard way.

    Thankyou Commencal

Ok, my thoughts were to send it to the bearing guy as i think he could do with one to figure out how to repair them.

E-mtb meet up groups in Scotland

We had to go down the 2 battery route in the end. one is just not enough for a day out. We tend to go to places like inners, Golfie, Dunkeld, Ballo, Laggan and other places around Scotland. Anyway i find it best to keep the spare battery in the van and swap it out at lunchtime. Dont like the...

    Mouse

Yes mousse. I was looking for something I could take with me for on the trail repairs. I have used stans race and muc off and both times they failed, so was thinking I could inject mousse to continue the ride and worry about it, when I got home.

    READERS WIVES

I dont see them much these days either, but spotted them last month when we did an uplift at Inners and they also had another friend on an ebike with them. You are right about expecting more ebikes in the valley, However i think they are mostly going to the trail centres, but i have seen a few...

    Mouse

I read some time ago, on here some peoples experiences with mouse, but cant find anything during a search. Can anyone recommend a good one that will seal a slash and fit a presta valve? Hopefully small enough to fit in my back pack without taking up too much space. Cheers.

Im surprised that she has not jumped straight onto the ebike thing, i would have thought that given the chance it would be the first thing that she would try. I know that Emma and Tracy that used to run the Glentress hub and im sure that you will know them. are both on ebikes.

Has anyone put carbon handlbars on their Levo? Good, bad and/or cost?

You might want to look at the Spank Vibrocore bars, they eliminated the arm pump that i was getting and got them from amazon for £42 at the time.

    Hiya from the Tweed Valley

Yep. that was me. Managed to rip a hole in my tyre about 15 mins later. had to ride on the insert back to the van and let the rest of the guys continue on.

    First bike choice .

Had this same thought myself and it's Defo the high spec model. It's not worth even looking at the lower model considering the small price difference.
