I did and placed my order, only to realise after it had taken me to a steel saddle instead of the chromoly I'd searched for, my fault I accept but wouldn't have been if I could have just found what I wanted on Wiggle in the first place. I would use someone else but I paid for Wiggle plus a while...
Just placed an order, but what a pain in the butt...
The nav sucks
The product pages suck
The category selection sucks
The reviews suck
The checkout sucks
Did they go to an IT company and say "how can we make our massively successful website absolutely sh!t to use because we want people to use...
Without going out to the garage I can't check, but I think my chain is about 118 or 120 links - I certainly didn't take 10 out of the 126link new chain I put on, if I remember to check I'll update this
I had to put a piece of laser cut steel in the vice and put the axle on that to undo it, no way I could have done it by hand, far too tight. The cap wouldn't go back on after as the axle is so soft it had deformed!
I went with mole grips, not buying antique spanners to undo a piece of sh1t - and why make the slots smaller than a normal spanner these days?? Stupid. I think it's a 17mm though?? But I'm not sure...
It's identifying as a short mudguard at the moment while it's dry round here, when it gets muddier again it will identify as a full mudguard.... ;):)
It's a muckynutz and you can take part of it off when you don't need it.... (y)
My mate who used to run the LBS said he'd rebuild it for me, but if I can get it done faster and reasonably I'll just pay for it.... Or play the spin the freehub lottery and hope it lands on "working" till the warranty one arrives or the Hunt's come back into stock. Must say though I like the...
Just done a 31 mile 3700ft ride with some severe climbs, thought I'd teach it a lesson..... :)
Think I've found a DT Microspline Centerlock in stock near me, going to call them tomorrow and see if I can get it rebuilt by the weekend...!! I think I'll stay on Centerlock, I have another 29er on it...
Yep it's going - and even using a metal plate in the vice it still deformed the crap out of the axle
LBS is putting in a warranty claim, reckon 3 weeks - but I think I'll be looking at some new wheels anyway....
Riding up in the Yorkshire dales this weekend too ffs
Will I get a bit of...
Thanks Tony, that's exactly what I was trying to do, bent a steel bar in the notches trying to undo the f-ing thing...!!!
It has given me an idea though, gonna clamp the bar in the vice so it's held solid and take it from there...
What a piece of crapola!! Surely there must be a free hub...
Well tried to take mine apart to check the pawls today and can't even get the freehub off the axle. Is there some magic way to get the end cap off the drive side or is it a reverse thread or something?? 2 little notches in soft aluminium on a MTB hub!!
Miranda do a 155mm apparently, link below
I seem to get more pedal strikes than I'm used to, a mate has a non E Orbea and was complaining about that too. Doesn't particularly bother me that much but it is noticeable!
Oddly my last bike (hardtail though) had a BB height of only 312mm but I...
Mines a H30 - I'll try and take it apart tomorrow, any sign of the pawls digging in and I'll just order a set of Hunts I think..... I don't hammer the bike though so will be interesting to see... Cup and cone is ludicrous on a 5 grand bike ffs...
I didn't realise they were cup and cone? Is that for certain, that's really crap for a bike this price and spec....!
Just checked, well that's that idea out the window!!
What's the front hub? If that's cup and cone too I'll be buying some hunts and chucking these I reckon!!
Mine seems to be the unbranded one, I'm about 500 miles in and so far haven't had an issue yet, I do intend to take it apart and have a look when I get chance though....
You OK hun? You need a hug? :ROFLMAO:
Mine doesn't do it, so it's not an issue for me, perhaps I'm the only person in the world that can leave their Orbea Rise charger plugged in and not have a problem, or perhaps it's just a problem on some chargers - as DubSea said above.
Mine goes solid blue when finished, and doesn't discharge at all no matter how long it's been left on.
Dubsea said above it's a charger issue if it's discharging.
