I'd love to do it, but at the same time it's going to eat my battery, I'm almost always over the 15mph limit on anything flat or downhill. At 20+ I'd be in the motor zone most of the rides, even on techy descents. As it stands I would expect I could get 50 miles plus on a decent ride. But at...
638 isn't grease, it's Anti-Grease! It's a retaining compound.... Glue effectively.... Used for stopping bearings moving etc...
You haven't put it anywhere other than the splines have you??
You've posted a link to prove me right....??
"Single-use plastic water bottles are everywhere"
"It should be safe to reuse a disposable water bottle as long as it is in good shape without cracks or signs of wear, and you keep it clean"
If you're buying new reusable water bottles and still...
😂
I've been using some bike bottles for years and years, I don't have the squits after riding...
Wash them and now and again put them in the dishwasher....
Have you considered your diet/health? :D
Try googling "Bosch cx motor problems" - then google "Ebike motor problems" - then accept you're never going to buy an E-bike... Oh and definitely don't buy a car less than 10 years old, modern engines are all riddled with problems.... Google it.... Best buy an electric car.... But you might...
As you say that can only happen if the 2 torqued up blots loosen, and the preload loosens - it's a bit of a stretch - especially if all thread locked. In many thousands of miles I've never had a pedal of this type (2 bolt clamp) come loose.
Re the longer/shorter preload cap - having a longer one...
You're in a forum on e-bikes, for every one issue here there are probably 50 people that haven't had an issue... Like trip advisor, 90% of people only go on to moan if they have a problem!:D
Meanwhile I've had another great night out on the Rise, I love it and have no regrets at...
Hi, ST Unlocker won't affect your warranty if you don't use it to change any settings, it just gives you more detailed info, but given what you're saying it clearly isn't an ex demo or anything like that then no need to bother.
Have you tried the seat post for the creak? You really can't tell...
You shouldn't be having these issues this soon, you said you are heavy, are you hammering the bike weight wise in boost all the time?
I'm 95kg plus kit and the hub was still working but showing the problem with the pawl so would have failed eventually, but that was at 500 miles. I tend to ride...
Just as an update for people I popped the drive side off to take a look and there is no rubber seal, the cranks are marked at 14nm and the preload bolt is marked at 4nm and did have threadlock on it. So looks like they have implemented the revised fitting instructions and updated the info on the...
I'm fine with crank length apart from a few crank strikes, but after the hub debacle I'm now thinking about the cranks/axle cracking issue. Was this a problem early on or is it still something I need to be checking/replacing with shimano?
Do you have a link for the definitive new fitting/torque...
I'm with VicenarianEbiker - I'm 205lbs without kit, and boost is hilariously silly fun. Are you relying on the motor too much??
The Gerbil comment, I ride road and the norm there is a cadence in the 80-90 rpm zone - more or less and it's time to shift (for me), under 70 is way too low, puts...
My mate is selling his Honda Africa Twin 1100 DCT at the moment, might be more up your street if you want a motorbike you can rev up and go on instead of an assisted MTB?? 😉😂
That said I've got a mate that used to try and snap his chains grinding the crap out of too low a gear on his old...
