Does anyone have any tips for oiling EMTB chains etc?

I'm still trying to figure out what you mean by this. I've had chain stuck between chainrings, but never any problem with something between the chain and chainring.

    Review 2020 Felt Redemption 50

Interesting. I have the 2020 Redemption e 30 which has slightly higher specs. I really like the bike but wonder if I have the same issue with the rotors? Will have to look into it. Glad to see there’s another felt owner on here!

Motor failures: Am I making a mistake buying an eMTB?

It's just a fact that sometimes motors go bad, and everything wears eventually. What you have to ask is why are you buying an e-bike? is it just because you want the latest thing, or are you looking for a bike because it will make a big difference in your enjoyment of cycling. It was the ladder...

Solo riding an emtb - nervous?

I live in the US in an area where private citizens are allowed to obtain permits to carry concealed handguns. My philosophy has always been that if I felt that I needed to carry a gun to feel safe then it was time for me to make some major changes in my life. The argument to carry it for...

    New rider looking for advice.

Why is it that whenever someone inquires about a bike because they want to explore mountain biking people always want to equip them to ride the most extreme trails? There is a lot of fun to be had on a basic ebike, and many trails don't even require full-suspension. I love my full-suspension but...

I'll second that. Even if you purchase mail order, make sure it's a brand with major components that can be serviced by a LBS. I purchased my Felt online but the components are all Shimano, and my LBS assembled it for me (It was more involved than I expected). A guy I know loved his Luna, but he...

Unanswered Upgrading to Di2 with steps

I believe all your assumptions are correct. I have the same motor and display and my LBS said it would be around $500 to upgrade.

Don't buy a bike to lose weight, that's really more about diet. Speaking from experience (a fat guy who has gotten skinny a few times).

500 mile review Trek Rail 9.7
