similar to checking the oil in your car, I would think. You rotate the tires so that the valve stem is that the lowest point and any sealant should pull up below that. Remove the valve core and insert dipstick until it touches the tire. If it's all dried up, then there won't be any sealant on...
A new tire, unfortunately. Somehow there is a nearly invisible cut on the sidewall near the rim which leaks, slowly or quickly, when it has a mind to, and seems to be sealant-proof. I guess $60 (on closeout) is worth the peace of mind, but it sucks to retire a tire after only 130 miles.
Batteries are HEAVY, not to mention expensive. Just how far to you plan on going? If there's a power outlet anywhere on your ride you just take a break and add a little juice. I have a bike with a Shimano system and 504 watt battery, and my energy will run out before that does!
I've been using ST Unlocker to monitor my battery health. Yesterday the battery was at 15% and 3 cycles and 100% health before I put it on the charger. I let it charge for an hour or so and disconnected the power. This morning I reconnected and let it charge until all the LEDs on the battery...
