Did they send the wrong hardware? I installed the same offset bushings kit and DHX2 shock. Removed the white pressed in the black DU bushings inserted the pin + sleeves, then used the Trek 10mm Shock axle/bolt to tighten it all up. Curious as to why it didn't work. At least you found a way...
Factory Size is Metric, 230x57.5. Your shock is a Trek Specific Trunnion version...230mm eye 2 eye shocks are not normally trunnion mount. You can try a longer stroke shock to gain travel, but if your not familiar with doing it, I wouldn't recommend it. You'll also need all new shock hardware...

I already had the kiox upgrade so installation was simple. Cables from the Kiox and Nyon are the same so all I had to do is swap the 4-pin cable that attaches to the motor from the kiox mount to the Nyon mount.
