I installed a 216x63.5mm Fox DHX2 w/ 700lb SLS spring and it fit fine w/o bushings on a large H15. It also worked w/ 2 offset bushings. I am currently running my Factory 36 at 150mm. I am gonna raise it to 160mm. When I do swap air shafts, I am gonna remove both offset bushings. The added...
I'm 5'11" on a large rise and found that the 170 OC dropper felt a bit higher than I prefer when it's slammed (tall stack height). I tried to install a oneup 210 slammed which fits, but the cable had just enough tension on it to not release properly although it fit slammed to the collar. I...
Definitely the easiest weight savings are getting rid of the AR30's. I went with RF Next R 31's which were 1765g for an instant savings of 1.21lbs (550g).
It has nothing to do with the shop, you used rider connect and picked a shop that had an early allotment date. I did the same thing and had my Large h15 in 3 weeks. If you walk in to a shop and order.....your at the mercy of the shops allotment date. It may come earlier if other shops...
I ordered my H15 on Feb 7th w/ upgrades and received it on Feb 25th. Orbea updates their systems with dates every Friday My upgradeses didn't change the shops allotment date.
Just waiting on the offset bushing to arrive then I’ll let u know. I have seen a Carbon rise being run full 29” on YouTube….but not on an H as far as I know. I also run a 700lb spring so even with the bushings it may not work…definitely doesn’t without the bushing as a tried and there is a...
It will void warranty if you tell them.....just put on the stock shock if you bring it in. I did test fit the longer shock with the 700lb spring w/o offset bushings and there was knock at top out which i couldn't locate...didn't really try too hard as it was 3am....but i'll check again when...
I ran Coils (DHX2's) on my Evil Calling, Orbea Rallon, Trek Rail, and a RS Super Deluxe Ultimate on my Evil Wreckoning. I love coils. I'm long shocking my Rise w/ a 216x63.5 DHX2 w/ 700lb SLS coil. I picked the Rise up w/ the Factory Float X, which I love as an air Shock. I run one on my...
Some crappy pics but here it is! Still need to install SRAM X01 derailleur and shifter, then add the 160mm airshaft/Fox DHX2 when the offset bushings arrive. Weighed in at 19.8kg (43.65lbs)
Even after upgrades my Rise H15 will be ~10 pounds lighter than my Rail 7 (54.7lbs.) Once I get my Range Extender I'll have 792wh vs 625wh on my Rail 7. Since I typically only ride the Rail in Eco/Emtb lite(trail/tour equivalent) I should get a lot more range on my Rise.
As a big guy, I can’t run the Performance damper on the fork….without adjustments it’s either too soft or too firm…so I run Grip2 if I run Fox, Ultimate w/ RS. Rear shock just matches tbh. I have a Float X on my Transition Spur. I don’t plan on Running It mullet so I’m not entirely sure how...
A friend of mine has the blue/grey h30 and it is a good looking bike. I wanted the orange but earliest ship dates available were in April….so I chose a anthracite/black from Oregon…(no sales tax)
I ended up going with RF NextR carbons for my H15. A burlier version than the SL version on the Rise M-LTD and 200g heavier but a pound lighter than the stock AR's. I'm curious what my final weight of my H15 build will be after upgrades. I also went with X01 Drivetrain, NextR bars which I use...
