Rise is designed to give most efficient peak power at higher cadences of 75-95 rpms. If your pushing a bigger gear and powering up a climbs at 55rpms then power delivery is less by design. This is not my opinion but what just what Orbea says directly on their website.
Well, the last 4 rides I've had to tighten the Main Pivot axle/after my ride. Just ordered the retaining cmpound to see if that helps. 4000Miles on my Rallon and it wasn;t half as flexy and never came loose once. Still love the bike, just need it fixed. How much loctite retaining compound...
Smart charger is just a general term that says the battery has a microprocessor on it....not all smart chargers share the same features. According the Orbeas websire, the only smart feature of the battery is current recognition to swap between 2-4A currents when it recognizes the extender(2A)...
That's where my creaking came from. Felt side to side play in the main pivot arms. I loosened the pinch bolts tightened with the bearing preload tool and retightened everything up. Creak came back and just did it all again. If if happens again, I'll add loctite but hopefully the play didn't...
I wouldn’t. when a battery is fully charged it makes no sense to plug it back in to charge it more overnight to see if mis-use causes battery malfunction…
Then definitely don't try RF Next R carbons LOL. I've always ran Reserves on all my bikes, tried Nobl TR32's on my Spur which were good. Got are great deal on the RF's cuz I couldn't find Reserves at the time....should have waited.
Latest update to my Rise is a 2022 Fox Factory 38 Grip2 160mm fork. I found the RaceFace Next R31's to feel flexy. I thought it was the frame but swapped my SC resereve 30's over from my Rallon and rear end flex was no longer really noticeable.
Plug it in @ 8-10pm, charge until I ride in the morning unplug between 6-10am. Common to leave it charging for 12hrs. I have on a few occassions have left it on for a day or two when I ended up not riding as planned and forgot to unplug it.
