I used the Speedbox 1.0 on a different bike but it had the same motor as the Heckler, E8000 steps. It worked flawlessly without any issues and was plug and play.
The Reserve rims with the I9 hubs are killer! I don't have any complaints. Never noticed an issue. I use Cushcore with the rims and run my tires with about 19PSI.
I will install a volume spacer when I get the kit which are coming in the mail. If that does not correct it, I will look into the negative side. I will take a look at the stock Float shock again, did not look at the negative side when I had it open. Did not even know that the negative side had...
I find that the 11 spd shimano works a lot better then the stock Sram 12 speed. I personally don't think a 12 speed is necessary on an ebike. The downside to the 12 speed: the chain is thinner, chain is longer to accommodate the larger cassette and it seems to take more maintenance to keep the...
yep, shock was equalized. I thought the same thing but when I talked to a bike shop manager, first thing he said was to add volume spacer. The stock shock has a .8inch spacer in it. The DPX2, no spacer. I think the issue is, it needs a spacer.
After installing the DPX2 and trying to get the sag correct for my weight, I was having to put in a lot more PSI than I thought I should need. I weigh 180lbs with riding gear and usually start at about 180PSI for setting the sag on the Float shock. To get the sag correct, on the DPX2 I needed...
New mudguard is now available for the Levo SL. Ordered mine last night. Expensive but seems to be the best product out there so far.

Here are a few pictures so you can see for yourself, hard for me to measure to the crossbar because I put the fender on last ride. There is enough room to run a fender and not rub. Don't love the fender if anyone is thinking of doing it, it would be better if it connected to the lower cross bar...
Thanks for the good advice! I was more nervous about the battery coming out of the cage so I have the retainer band down to keep the battery from coming out. I will move it up to keep the plug in. Thanks!
On several rides the range extender cable has unplugged from the battery during the bike ride. I have the rubber band that comes with the battery pulled down enough to keep the battery from coming out of the z water bottle cage, but it's then to low to keep the cable from coming out of the...
Yes, the rear magnetic assembly works on IceTech rotors. I upgraded my 2020 Levo with XT 4 piston brakes with 203mm Icetech 6 bolt rotors. Take the existing magnet off the rear Sram brake rotor and place it on the Icetech rotor.
OneUp Components makes a very nice seat post for $200. Get the wolf tooth easy action seat dropper for the seat post. My favorite is the Sram AXS seat post but it's quite a bit more.
I don't agree with that. I would not lube the chain with the battery on, too much potential for something to go wrong. Take it from a paramedic who has seen a lot.
