Installed the DH-R EVO as well on my Kenevo SL. I only have two rides on the brakes around 30 miles. I followed TRP's recommendation for bedding the pads but it's taken more time then usual for them to bed and have good bite. Love the thicker rotors, brakes do not fade and seem solid the whole...
Broke mine as well, easy to replace and relatively inexpensive, less then $20 to replace. Pro tip - do not pull all the screws out before attaching new door or you will be pulling the motor to re-attach cord on the back side.
Seems about right to me. I have over 2000 miles on a Levo SL and now a couple hundred miles on the KSL. The Levo SL was definitely a more efficient peddling bike up hill and I would mostly ride in Eco and could get 20 to 24 miles on a battery without the extender. I find with KSL I mostly ride...
I put the MTX Gold on my bike, never liked SRAM brakes, but with the MTX pads, it's a huge improvement and I am going to keep the Codes that came with the bike.
Has anyone upgraded the rear rotor to a 220mm? Spacer you used?
I want to switch the rear rotor on my KSL to 220mm, I have the SRAM code brakes. Has anyone done this upgrade? What post did you use for the rear brake?
Decided to go with the S2, I think it's a better fit, changed the stem from the 35mm to a 40mm and the AXS seat post from 125mm to 150mm because I had them from my Levo SL. I think the S3 would have been to long of a bike for me.
I am having the same issue, I am 5'8", 30" inseam, currently riding a Levo SL medium which fits me perfectly, the KSL S3 is a little big and the KSL S2 is to small. I have demoed both bikes previously and still having a hard time which direction to go. I will have the S2, S3 and my Levo SL all...
The haters are vocal on the forums, but everyone is cool on the trails. I won't worry about it, best decision I ever made. Riding more then I ever had, way more miles and way more smiles. I live in Santa Cruz, rode UCSC on Thursday, saw more e-bikes out mid-day then acoustic bikes. I grew up in...
What I meant was is the frame design going to be the new six bar link that is currently being used on the Enduro and Kenevo frame or will Specialized continue to use the asymmetrical design that is currently being used on the Levo Sl and the Evo frame.
Yes, the noise of the SL motor bothers me but I think it's still the best ebike on the market for me. I have not ridden the Orbea Rise which would be in the same category of ebikes that I am interested in. The great things that will be coming in the future are quieter, lighter, and more powerful...
I installed the DPX2 on my SL. The issue I had with the X2 is the range extender won't fit on a medium bike. I think it will on a L or XL. I got my DPX2 shock from someone who had a Yeti because they are same size shock but you need to tune the shock for the SL. There is a positive the negative...
Pretty simple, if you use a tuner on your bike and there are issues after, you need to take responsibility for your own actions. With that said, I ordered the tuner for my SL and will hope for the best.
