Try and plug it. I''ve had great luck repairing holes or gashes just like with tire plugs. The cheap bacon looking ones work great. Have not tried the dynaplug but read they work great too.
I was really into Strava for 2-3 years. Chased KOMS, couldn't wait to get home to upload the ride to see pr's, etc. I've lately stopped logging and just do my rides and enjoy it much more and I'm a much more polite trail user. We don't need to be out racing ourselves or others on public...
Interesting. I have read about the banger system but not the mousse. Mousses work a treat on Moto's so it's proven. Motor of the ebike will make it workable. Post your impressions.
I use Cushcore on my enduro bike front and rear and that along with tougher casing tires (Maxxis Double Down)...
Would be easier to post up what you are considering and then people can help out with advice.
Would be very difficult to write up a guide regarding all components, however there is usually a sweet spot regarding components and that is usually one below top level, XT vs XTR, etc. Budget of...
I wish bike manufacturers would handle model year changes a bit better. Automotive industry seems to have this figured out a bit better. For instance Porsche just announced details on MY'19 Macan changes which are likely to appear next late spring. Quite a far ways off but it lets consumers...
Thanks for reply. Sounds like my the spring on the large will likely be good for my 175 lbs then.
Hoping to demo one of these before I decide on what emtb to get.
Nice machine. Did you ride anything else?
I'm considering a Kenevo as well. What size frame and at your weight did you need to get a different shock spring?
Oh yeah the fun factor of these things is just off the charts, makes you wonder to yourself why you need a normal bike again except...
Right now in the US it still seems fashionable to be anti-ebike. Strikes me as luddite thinking but there are perceived access issues here.
I'm excited because at the moment in the US there are not that many ebikes to choose from, or at very best it is hard to chase them down. Looks like it...
Well brakes tend to be a topic similar to religion or politics. We've all got our preferences. I've had very good luck my sets of Code RSCs and Code R.
Pinkbike did a pretty good comparison last year Ridden and Rated: 5 Four-Piston Brakes - Pinkbike
All that said I like Sram brakes a bit more...
Thanks!
Good input regarding the EX1 group and how Sram is moving forward with Eagle for ebikes.
Annecdotally my experience also definitely mirrors that the Shimano setup likes high cadence, good to hear that relates well to better battery use. I confess to a lot of trail and boost mode usage...
I'm looking to get my first emtb. I'm in Colorado, US and ebikes here are just starting to trickle in. They are allowed on a provisional basis on the majority of trails I ride and after demoing two bikes (more on that) I'm bitten and *need* an ebike now. I have two young kids and don't have a...
