I have a Stance E1 and my buddy got a Stance E2. He he likes the bike, but wishes he got an E1 like mine. The two main differences are 12 speed and dropper post on the E1 vs 10 speed and no dropper post on the E2. Otherwise they are the same bike.
That said, this was my first EMTB and I...
I rotated mine towards me so it is vertical on the inside of the handle bar. Did this mostly just because it was easier to press the buttons while I was riding. But I suppose it does protect it better.
Sounds like a bad battery to me. The battery probably has something wrong with it and is close to a tolerance setting in the firmware or something heat/cold related in the circuitry of the battery. You have already isolated the problem to that battery as the fault moved with the battery from...
I thought the same thing. I rode with them at 50PSI today (Max PSI for the tires). I am heavier (245lbs) and tend to ride with them between 40-50 PSI. Being heavier, maybe that is the issue with burping? I have had the tires since August (When I got the bike) and they have always done this...
It seems that I have a lot of sealant leaking out of my tires all over the tire. Both tires, both sides. Some from right by the rim, some from various spots on the side wall. It all seems to be on the sidewalls, none leaking from the tread area. First bike with tubeless tires and my question...
I originally took the bolt out of the Ride One Controller to see if it was the right size and those are the exact measurements of that bolt (though only 6mm long which is too short by 2 mm and PITA to put back together) and that one was too small (Thread diameter) for the contact switch. I...
I have a 2021 Stance E+ 1 with a Giant dropper post. The screw that holds the clamp of the contact switch on the handle bar came out when I was riding yesterday and is gone in the dirt somewhere.
Does anyone know what size screw it is? Both the M size (like M3) and length?
I have a brand new 2021 Stance E+ 1 and the app does the same thing. The only thing that works in it is the battery charge level. Most of the other fields are just zero or just count up by 1 every second even when not moving. Also can't even get into the tuning section, it is grayed out.
That is a good question and I have the same question. I find that lower gear/lower assist level gives me more range, but lower speed up hills (which is OK for me). Higher gear/higher assist level less range. That seems to the basic trade off. But more to the point of your question is stress...
Nope, nor do the most of the display items during a ride work (like RPM, Range, speed, etc...). About the only thing that works is the battery percentage.
Ride Control App connects fine (most of the time), but the tuning and ride control options on the main screen are grayed out and not selectable, if you start a ride, the RPM's and Remaining Range are always zero, the distance and energy just increment at a constant rate even when I am not...
Mid 50's guy started MTB riding a year ago and quickly figured out can't go up hill very well :-). Just got a 2021 Giant STANCE E+ 1 29er and have been out 3 days in a row on it and love it. I am able to where I want when I want now! Always looking for other guys to ride with around the east...
