    Help: What Sram clamp

You can get the Problem Solvers MisMatch adapter - always removed Avid/Sram brakes and put on decent Shimano stuff. Just need to figure out which one you need - iSpec 2 is possibly the one, but look it up on their site. Problem Solvers

    Wheel set for commuting (e160)

I use Serfas Drifters on a wheelset I snagged from CRC. Nukeproof Neutron MTB Wheelset - about 150 quid.

Most durable drivetrain parts for an Ebike?

Haven't tried the Eagle XO1 chain as have sold my SingleSpeed bikes but I went through maybe 5-6 chains before deciding solid plates and pins is best for my size. I figure the torque and power from an ebike would be similar to climbing with the SS.

Who owns more than one e-bike?

That is a similar look my dog gives when we go out with the ebike. Pretty certain it means ... "You focking bastage - used to be able to pass you and romp away, but now you have that damned noisy thing I can't keep up."

    Screeching from the motor ?

When my belt stripped, drive disappeared. As it was still mobile I am not thinking belt, but who knows.

Who owns more than one e-bike?

Had 2 - my first was a 2019 Scott eGenius 920 with the Shimano motor and I later bought a 2019 Levo so I could fit a 700Wh battery. Recently sold the Scott and am replacing it with a 2020 Scott eGenius Tuned with the Bosch motor and 625Wh battery. Once I have that I will flick the Levo on and...

Washing the bike is it worth it?

Bloody eMTB are a pain. The Singlespeed could be thrown into the spa-pool, fire up the bubbles then hang it from the front wheel to dry.

    YT Decoy 700WH battery

The difference between a 504Wh and 700Wh battery for the Levo is approx. 700gms. There is a thread somewhere here where I weighed both a few months back.

Answered Is it worth to get oldGen of Bosch CX ?

Have been on the old and the new Bosch motors back to back just riding around a small grass lot, but the new one is just so much better. To me, the only reason to buy something with the old motor is because it is dirt cheap and you will keep is as a filthy weather bike or a commuter when you by...

Washing the bike is it worth it?

Personally, I prefer a wheel stand for washing. I do hang my bike to lube chain, but I just slide the nose of the seat onto the bottom clamp which is enough to hold the wheel off the ground for lubing the chain. Wouldn't work on it that way though.

They are a nice looking bike with IMHO brilliant geometry. And NO, I do not use that wanky kinematics bullshit.

    Brand spanking new

Hmmm, where to start. Over-priced and under-specced for a start. Don't particularly like the geometry either and the rear suspension design does not work as well as others IMHO. To be fair, the basic design is the fault and has been overcome mostly by shock valving but is at the root of things...

    Brand spanking new

I think one of the first things to do is make a list with 2 columns ... Wants - Needs. Then see which one scores higher. Or just a long list: Motor Charachteristics Battery Type Battery Size Style Ergonomics Componentry Wheel Size Price etc, etc See which one meets the most of your...

Most durable drivetrain parts for an Ebike?

Steel Chain Ring and Cassettes are definitely the way to go with eMTB. As far as chains go I would stay away from anything that has hollow pins or non solid side plates. From long experience on my Singlespeed hollow pins crush under load and side plates break on the flash lightweight chains.
