Nice! A local NZ suspension place wants $200 just for the mounts to fit an eye to eye shock as the 9 has the reactiv trunnion shock, the 7 already has those mounts?

9 comes with a 150mm, mates 7 has a 125mm, same size M frames so a 7 will take a 180mm, really liked the extra drop today. Yup its a great package, looking forward to the motor update to make it even more of a weapon. Am running a 2.6 Assegai up front with a 2.6 dhf on rear, might get an Assegai...

Its a Mucky Nutz short front, just needed a little heatgun action to widen it slightly for extra tyre clearance, protects lower linkage pretty well.

So after 3rd ride on my new 9 I'm so so glad I took a punt on it after coming from a 19 Trance e1....I f*#king love this bike!! It is more different than the Trance than I expected, love the Bosch motors power delivery (about to get better with update), I like to spin, something the Yamaha did...

Anyone with a med Rail fit a dropper longer than a 150mm? The 9 comes with a 150mm but wouldn't mind a 175 if possible.

My 9 climbs alot better than my Trance e+1 did, front is way more planted on tight uphill switchbacks, no front end wandering at all.

My 9 came with an E thirteen ISCG05 2 bolt chainguide

Any thoughts about a Fox dpx2 non trunnion? Had the Factory on my Trance and loved it. Am thinking there wouldn't be much that would interfere. Is there a kit available for top and bottom eye mounts that I assume has through bolts and bushings? Have only ridden the 9 once in slippery conditions...

I don't have any friends on accoustic bikes....I prefer to mix with my own kind ? Am I allowed to say that these days? Is there pc rules or bikism I dont know about ??

My Trance that I've just sold had all the torque down low and did 2000km on a chain and cassette, definitely less gear changing on climbs compared to mate on bosch bike, shifting under power def hurts components more than a bit more torque on its own. In my head I'm happy to have slightly more...
