I just ordered a set of the 900s and there's an option to pay extra for 2 day delivery so I should be back up and running before the weekend. Again, I appreciate all your help.
I appreciate the help! The bike shop where I purchased the bike has been entirely unresponsive. I finally emailed Orbea directly and they've been responsive but we have just started the process. I want to get back riding and will probably just buy and install the cranks myself. If Orbea...
One of my e13 cranks just fell off. Bike is unusable. I wasn't aware of this issue until researching it now. I'm sure most work fine but be aware that this is an ongoing issue for some.
One of my e13 cranks just fell off and I'm dead in the water. Contacted the bike shop twice with no response. Have now gone straight to Orbea and they responded with a standard email giving their telephone number and instructing me to go to the dealer at which I purchased the bike. I'll call...
I bought an Orbea Rise as my first emtb about a year and a half ago. I bought the carbon M10 version because the aluminum version was unavailable at the time but I suspect both are great. I had relatively little mountain biking experience prior to this. I've ridden a ton since and I love it...
I love my Rise M10 but would classify it more as a cross country bike and not a bit enduro downhill performer. It fits my riding perfectly and isn't incapable as an enduro bike but it isn't optimized for it. If you are riding a lot of enduro parks, I'd encourage you to look at the others.
Both are wonderful bikes and you can't go wrong. I own an M10 and wouldn't change it for the world but I've never owned a FF so can't give a head-to-head ownership comparison. I will say that more isn't always better. I've found my light(er) weight bike is a little closer to the analogue bike...
I have used this app for a year or more and love it. Recently, it stopped showing the assist level correctly. It will get stuck on one display (i.e., Eco, Trial, Boost) and won't change as I toggle up and down while riding. Any suggestions?
I've had an Orbea M10 for about a year. Am using the ST Ride app to show battery percentage, cadence, speed, assist level, etc. when riding. It worked perfectly until about 2 weeks ago. Now it does not report the assist level correctly. Just gets stuck on one level and wont' change to...
I did the M10 and have loved it. Is my favorite bike by far. With that said, I have often wondered if I would even notice the difference if it were a 20. I'm sure you can't go wrong with either but I can attest that the M10 is a great ride.
On mine (which I'm not sure is a SRAM), I noticed that all the links have the writing facing the same way except for one link which I'm thinking is the quick link but am not sure. I've spoken with a different bike shop and am taking it to their mechanic next Monday to review all the issues. I...
Hey All,
Here's a brief update:
Front Chain Ring - I've looked at these pictures and compared it to mine and I don't see any obvious wear to this degree. I really don't think this is the issue and the bike shop just doesn't have any other ideas or is trying to have me spend more money. TBD...
This is all brilliant information and I cannot thank all of you enough for providing such a thorough explanation. I'm away on business but will take a look at the bike as soon as I'm back in my home town. They were genuinely rushing the job (had the bike for a week but didn't really start...
Took my bike to the LBS recently. They serviced pivots and replaced bearings, replaced rear cassette, new chain and did a general tune up and washed the bike (which was admittedly super dirty). Ever since, I'm having an intermittent but frequent "grinding" feel when pedaling. I can't tell...
That is good news. I really like this bike but the (potential) range issues are a big concern. I'll keep an eye on this forum and see other people's real life experiences.
Agree with most above. It depends upon your trails and how your fitness level. I find my M10 Carbon Rise to be all I need on the local trails but I'm doing more cross country than long, arduous climbs with steep descents. I think the mid-assists have more than enough assist (having come from...
