I'm about 103 KG fully kitted out. I live in an area that is relatively flat. I own both a 2021 M10 (360 WH battery) and a 2023 MTeam (upgraded to the 540 WH battery).
I've gotten a little over 40 miles (42?) out M10 with 360 WH and that was with a mix of assist modes, mostly trail but...
Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a hip belt hydration pack that would work well for a smaller woman. She's 5'2" and 108# so has a slender waist and frame. I have the Evoc 5L (with 1.5L bladder) and even it is bulky on her. Any smaller riders that have found something that has worked well for...
I've had 2. The original EP800 and recently added another bike with the EP801. Both have been flawless although I've only had the new one for a few weeks. It varies from bike to bike but my EP800 had very little rattle. My EP801 has none and is remarkably quiet in operation. I would...
What did you change with emax? Did you allow the full 85 NM? Change the max speed? I'm in the US so the motor doesn't cut off until 20 MPH which is fine for me. If I were in the UK or somewhere else where the motor cutoff at 25 KPH, I'd likely tweak the settings to get the higher max speed...
I own a 2021 M10 that has been great and still works well. I've had it for 2 years and ridden an average of 1-2x/week so have good familiarity with it. For a variety of reasons, I just bought a 2023 MTeam and I'll keep both. Not sure if it benefits anyone but here is how they compare after my...
I have a 2021 M10 with the 360. Just upgraded to a 2023 and opted for the larger battery. I've not really had any issues with range but, given the choice, I'm going for the bigger one.
My 2023 Orbea Rise M-Team has just arrived. I have not yet picked it up from the bike shop. I bought an assortment of things from the bike shop that I wanted to change, mostly contact points (saddle, pedals, grips). I also want to change to a riser stem due to a recurring back issue that does...
OP, I have a 2021 Carbon M10 with the 360 WH battery. I'm around 215 pounds. I routinely do 20 mile rides with about 1300-1600 ft of elevation change and end with about 20% battery left. That is toggling between assist modes based upon the grade but I'm not a terribly fit rider and I use all...
I have the bike that you are talking about and the 360 is sufficient for those rides at your bodyweight without any issues. With that said, I'm buying a new Rise and I'm opting for the bigger battery to give me the option for longer rides.
Get a timer plug and experiment with how long it takes you to get roughly to where you want the battery to be and have it cut off. It wouldn’t be exact but I’ll bet you could get pretty accurate with it And it would be very inexpensive. You could even get one of those Alexa-controlled plugs...
I think the H might have the EP601 motor which is the same internal structure and power but the outer case is heavier. I want to say it adds 300 g but I couldn't swear to it.
Shoot! Great reminder. I had read that but forgotten about it. My new Rise is supposed to arrive in the next week or two. I'll ride the original equipment until the cassette is dead and then switch everything over to the Linkglide 11. I'll need to factor in the cost of a new hub. It's...
I had something very similar. I'm a physician and knew it was due to the angle my wrist and the the small, repetitive stresses. Here is what helped me:
Switch to Carbon One Up Bar w/ 35mm rise. This bar specifically has more up/down flex while maintaining side-to-side rigidity for steering...
