Have you ridden with mates yet? You might be underestimating how quick your e150 is. My e160 will cruise along at 20mph without too much effort on the flat. When out on our group ride, the motor is off or in ECO. But it's a fairly leisurely pace. A few times I've split off with another mate...
Given that the SRAM stuff seems so hard to get at the mo, anyone had good results with something else that works well? Hope 34t seem in stock everywhere but £60. Anything else?
The same happened to me last year. All the first deliveries from Whyte are for people who've preordered. So I put my name down for one, paid a small deposit, and it arrived in August.
Next year is now though, the new bikes are launching - unless you were after an RS 180 which looks like it might not be here until Autumn.
Or have the shops already sold out (or pre-sold) the latest ones?
I wonder what it costs them to be on Apple's Find My network? And how much customer data they have to hand over as part of the T&Cs? Prob more to think about than just adding the software.
Plus if they are integrated with the bike, it will be known where they are located and how to kill the power.
...and they'll still be sold out before we get into 2022 ?
Good news on the seatclamp. IME the integrated ones don't work too well with droppers. Maxxis and ZEBs on most bikes, nothing much else changed other than prices going up.
Supposed to be 3 days, and it will start beeping too. Bit of an Apple PR feature IMO, as that's still plenty of time for a stalker-type to work out your home address, and if you have an abusive partner tracking you, the 3 days resets every time you go home.
It's surprising how many Tiles are in...
I embrace the chips. Mine is worst on the seatstays/bridge. Sticks seem to always get picked up by the rear wheel and jam there bringing me to an abrupt stop. I only seem to get mud in that main pivot area.
I'm getting 40 miles/65 km when doing more XC-type rides, with one bar left. Over 1,000 m climbing. Switching between modes as needed, prioritising battery/exercise over speed ?
When I'm out for an hour just having fun in EMTB mode prob half that. 20 miles or so.
Nice 40-miler to Barbury Castle and back today. Had snow, sleet, hail and sun ? The high-speed crash, when my front and rear wheels decided to take different ruts, was not so nice. Gonna smart tomorrow, but think my rear mech survived ??
USB connector getting dodgy on my old Lezyne light, so got one of the £50 Halfords ones. Seems excellent, pretty much the same spec as the old light and half the price.
