    Making your own tec pack?

The 21700 cells are physically bigger, so I would guess that's a no.

    Shimano versus Bosch Motor

I've changed to this recently. I downloaded the app first (for about £1.50) This connected without having to change the firmware so upgraded to the full licence to be able to change wheel size and region etc. Works great

Battery discharge if left plugged into charger.

I did note the blue ring on the power switch remained on, I was hoping this was going to be a good way of charging when needed but I guess I will need a plan B

Great emtb bike seat from Proxim

Can you drop a link where you bought it from. Did it give you the option of different padding like with the WTB Volt? Thanks M

Battery discharge if left plugged into charger.

I have the shimano based Jam2 so the in-frame battery that you can't remove to charge. Thinking I was being clever and having read that leaving the bike fully charged degrades the battery over time, I bought an app controlled plug (Kasa), the thought being I could charge the bike remotely...

What power settings are you using

Just changed to the ST unlocker to alter my power settings (great app by the way, bought the licence to try out the us setting). Was curious what others were running for the power settings. I changed trail to 140% when using the us setting, otherwise found that I couldn't maintain more than 17...

    Focus Jam2 with Shimano Motor

OK, admittedly the problems mostly been supply after payment or damaged in transit, not the battery's operation. I would but one but the same as you

    Focus Jam2 with Shimano Motor

Where did you get that...... is that the e-booz, I've only ever heard bad press about them.

Wife now wants an e-bike, trying to convince her to buy what I want so I really have 2...

    Shimano versus Bosch Motor

You won't be disappointed with the Shimano, I bought mine a couple of years ago now with the carbon frame as it was (at the time) the lightest full power e-bike on a decent budget. The trail mode is excellent, I find I tend to leave it in trail unless I have a particularly big hill I want to...

    e-bikes/bikes markets ... something wrong?

New season e-bikes always have a waiting list, especially in the less popular sizes. 2 yrs ago quoted 5 month wait on a canyon spectral.

Post your tyre pressures here. The ultimate tyre pressure thread.

Maxxis minnion 27.5 * 2.8 (came with the bike), converted to tubeless. Front and rear both 17psi if running on gravel over hard pack, 22psi if going for flat ride. Rider weight (me) 69kg

    Another tyre (size) question

How do you find the S1 rims? I am considering changing the whole set up so I have a spare set of wheels and tyres to throw on the bike. Thanks

Volume spacers for Fox float DPS rear shock

I have upped the pressure in the rear shock to 165psi, I think this has cured the travel issue on the rear, also I will give the front a go at 55 psi as I think I am more like 60psi. I really need to see if I can get a local loan of a shockwiz to see what it recommends. Thanks

Volume spacers for Fox float DPS rear shock

It's not that I want to save travel, but I know I have not ridden the hardest terrain I usually do, so it would be bottoming out if I did, but I don't want more air pressure as I have the right sag and it feels supportive at short stroke (only 70kg when kitted out btw) I have the Fox Rythym...

    Front shocks service costs

Hi, Just wondering what I should expect to pay for a front shock service at LBS. Noticed the fork seems very stiff before putting any pressure on it after it's been left for a couple of days. Looking at the parts and (service kit, oil and seal fitting tool) it's going to cost around £50-60 to...

Volume spacers for Fox float DPS rear shock

Thanks for the help. I have been focusing on set up over the last couple of weeks to try and improve my riding now we can get out. I noticed on the last couple of rides that the o-ring on the rear had all but come off and that was without any big hits (I'm no downhill king). I added air to...
