I've changed to this recently. I downloaded the app first (for about £1.50) This connected without having to change the firmware so upgraded to the full licence to be able to change wheel size and region etc.
Works great
I did note the blue ring on the power switch remained on, I was hoping this was going to be a good way of charging when needed but I guess I will need a plan B
I have the shimano based Jam2 so the in-frame battery that you can't remove to charge.
Thinking I was being clever and having read that leaving the bike fully charged degrades the battery over time, I bought an app controlled plug (Kasa), the thought being I could charge the bike remotely...
Just changed to the ST unlocker to alter my power settings (great app by the way, bought the licence to try out the us setting).
Was curious what others were running for the power settings. I changed trail to 140% when using the us setting, otherwise found that I couldn't maintain more than 17...
You won't be disappointed with the Shimano, I bought mine a couple of years ago now with the carbon frame as it was (at the time) the lightest full power e-bike on a decent budget. The trail mode is excellent, I find I tend to leave it in trail unless I have a particularly big hill I want to...
Maxxis minnion 27.5 * 2.8 (came with the bike), converted to tubeless.
Front and rear both 17psi if running on gravel over hard pack, 22psi if going for flat ride.
Rider weight (me) 69kg
I have upped the pressure in the rear shock to 165psi, I think this has cured the travel issue on the rear, also I will give the front a go at 55 psi as I think I am more like 60psi.
I really need to see if I can get a local loan of a shockwiz to see what it recommends.
Thanks
It's not that I want to save travel, but I know I have not ridden the hardest terrain I usually do, so it would be bottoming out if I did, but I don't want more air pressure as I have the right sag and it feels supportive at short stroke (only 70kg when kitted out btw)
I have the Fox Rythym...
Hi,
Just wondering what I should expect to pay for a front shock service at LBS.
Noticed the fork seems very stiff before putting any pressure on it after it's been left for a couple of days.
Looking at the parts and (service kit, oil and seal fitting tool) it's going to cost around £50-60 to...
Thanks for the help.
I have been focusing on set up over the last couple of weeks to try and improve my riding now we can get out. I noticed on the last couple of rides that the o-ring on the rear had all but come off and that was without any big hits (I'm no downhill king).
I added air to...
