Thanks
I have consider stunlocker to get a bit more freedom with the motor settings, but I always get a bit nervous with electronics, going away from factory. I did see there was a US setting which would give 20mph maximum, which as you say, more than enough.
Any adverse effects besides...
Thanks for the reply
Its a Fox Rhythm 34. Sag set fine, happy with the limit of the travel, so no changes to volume spacers required.
Rode it yesterday on the same route I use. There is a big downhill, a bit rough but not big drops, felt a lot choppier than before I changed it so I think I...
So I've read as many threads as I can but yet to find a way of setting up the front rebound.
The latest one I have tried is to compress the front fork at least a third and release quickly. If the tyre 'hops' off the ground the rebound is too high and drop by one click to settle.
I can't...
No water ingress issues for me, but to be fair, I don't do a lot of wet riding. Had one charging issue post washing the bike upside down, so buy a stand.
The only other issue was caused by me knocking the magnet off (well moving it), so I superglued the magnet to the hanger.
I have the 2018 Carbon, great bike and for my short(ish) rides, never had an issue battery wise. I would say battery suffers more with climbing, but I guess this is standard across all e-bikes, but might show up more on the smaller battery.
I think the upgrades are probably worth the extra...
Are they Exo or Exo+ Looking to change my tires but can't decide if I need Exo or Exo+. About a tenner a tyre difference, both still TPI120, I'm not an especially hard rider and would like the lighter tyre.
Thanks, I have very similar conditions, loose gravel over hard packed. I think I will look around instead of getting the e-wild's if they aren't the best for that type of terrain.
I'm on that unhappy with the grip on the Rekons, but I want to go to a 2.6 max tyre width from the 2.8+ for better...
Thanks I have read some of this already, I just wondered if anyone had run these on a focis jam2 as I'm sure tyres behave differently on different makes
Thanks

Question on volume spacers. If I were to add avolume spacer, could I run less air pressure to make the ride more compliant at slow speed and for high frequency bumps, letting the volume spacer protect the fork from bottoming out at full travel?
I previously had only thought of volume spacer...
I'm a similar weight to you, around 67kg. I find the fork has trouble with the small stuff, tends to virbrate over these rather than compress. Maybe that's what is being described as flex, otherwise I don't get any flex. Any tips on set up for the small bumps, I guess it would fall under fast...
Sorry for yet another tyre question.
I want to change the tyres on my Focus Jam c plus from the 2.8+ tyres it currently has.
Already chosen the tyre make as i want to change to the Michelin E-wilds, but I want to fit something narrower than the current plus size ones.
Question is can I fit...
To be honest I'm a bit confused by this thread...
I looked at the Decathlon as I had never heard of it before which at £2.5k definitely lives at the cheaper end of e-bikes, so to jump to a £6k bike leaves a lot of room in-between.
Admittedly you didn't mention your budget but have a look at...
