Inspect the battery terminals for wear as well. Even if you can´t feel any movement of the battery I´m sure there is some movement and this is what eventually leads to broken latches and wear an tear of the connector/battery terminals.
The answer I got from Canyon today was that they are working on a solution. Nothing about a solution already being in place. I was going to order the bike today before the sale ends, but this makes me not to. I will wait and see how this unfolds and hope for another sale during the winter.
I see this come up a lot about Bosch being better for spare parts. But I can´t seem to find Bosch selling any more spares than Shimano. Some bearings and cables, but that´s about it.
I think it´s a combined problem of a weak latch and the socket in the downtube also not giving enough support. Even if the latch stay unbroken the weak fastening of the socket does not give enough support for the top of the battery to press up against and sit still.
Might be that the Bosch rail...
I think the issue is that the battery is not fixed well enough and is rattling around.
I kind of like YT´s solution with a thru axle through the battery and frame on both ends.
Had a look at this but don´t know how accurate it is. Because in that calculator, changing the head angle does not alter the reach and I´m pretty sure it should. The only configuration metric that changes reach in that calculator is the BB height.
What heart rate monitor are you using?
Some HR monitors support multiple blue tooth connections. If that is the case with yours you could connect it to both the TCU and the Mission Control at the same time.
The Garmin should be able get the power and cadence using Ant+. What steps did you take...
I´ve seen that same statement from many others. That it feels better than what the numbers on paper say.
When stand up pedaling I have a tendency to feel unbalanced and like I´m about to fall backwards having to hold on to the bar when the reach is too short for me.
Size L is 1mm shorter reach...
Can anyone tell me the minimum seat height of the S4 Gen 3 Levo with the 170mm dropper?
Trying to make out where my saddle height would end up on the S4 (Top of saddle to pedal axle).
I´m 178cm with 85,5cm inseam.
The bottle cage is not an issue for me personally.
I always ride with my USWE hydration pack. Love it and been using it for years for biking, cross country skiing, running and motocross etc.
My biggest gripe with the Decoy is how short the reach is. I would have to go for size XL to get...
Was still a bit more money than I was willing to spend. The bike is now sold and no longer available.
But now the -23 Levo Comp Carbon is selling for 4950 euro.
I am tempted to go for it but might hold off a bit longer to see what deals and -24 bikes show up during the winter. Won´t be able to...
I would not trust that at all. Companies and especially customer support have a habit of giving inaccurate information all the time.
But please let us know how it goes. I hope you get a bike where it has been sorted and maybe you can let us know in what way they fixed it.
