Just bought a new bike and it didn't come with one.
The style was to always remove these. Great idea until my chain jumped and got wedged between the spokes and cassette😂
All the interesting R&D is happening on the e-bike side, I don't really follow or care what's going on with amish rides.
Still have my regular mtb though, it's relegated to uplift days only.
You're going to have to see it in the flesh, I was under the impression all the small frames were the same shape as the 2021 models as they only have the 625 battery and don't have the smart system.
I was under the impression the small version of both the 160 & 140 were basically the 2021 model frame and components, just with a 2022 paint job.
It really would be worth trying a 140 in medium (doesn't matter if it's SL,TM, AT etc) to see what the fit is like.
If the medium is a good fit it's...
Wheels come taped. I was just doing the tubeless conversion last night. For the front wheel I pulled off the existing tape and fitted my own but I think it'll be good enough to use so for the rear I'm just going to add sealant and see how it does.
I'm quite baffled by the bike selection, they've picked a low spec cube model instead of the SLT/action team? Surely if you wanted to find the best trail/enduro you'd compare the best that brand had to offer.
Pure speculation here but maybe a different colour scheme and the new small controller with top tube integrated display.
Be surprised if there's much more than that. They were so delayed with getting 2022 models out. Some guy who works at a bike shop was saying their delivery of 2022 bikes is...
Nope, i don't fully understand thread pitch tbh. I vaguely remember being shown how to identify different pitches on my apprenticeship many years ago.
Easier now just to use a thread checking tool - except I'd left it at work and didn't have it to hand. 😄
Yes! Appreciate the help. Doing some digging it seems to be m12 x 148 with a 1.0 pitch.
This site seems really useful as well:
