I don't know where you'll be riding to say if it is or isn't.
A very good point was made about security, these bikes cannot be left anywhere outside, thieves will in broad daylight just use angle grinders to cut locks off.
It's very hard to give good advice that's relative to you as only you know the trails you'll be using it on, what your commute is like etc.
From strictly my own experience, once you've used an e-bike on a climb it's such a game changer you'll want to use it more. You may well find yourself going...
I hired a trek full suss a couple of months ago with 625 battery and gen 4 motor and despite it being a thrashed hire bike the motor wasn't anywhere near as loud as the video makes out.
You can certainly hear it but nothing disturbing like the video.
You might have a smaller geographic radius on fb as it's collection only, but (in my experience anyway) the amount of people that view/show interest is higher on FB marketplace due to the much higher volume of users.
Plus it's free so nothing to lose by trying it.
I think you're using it wrong. Write your advert, set your price and that's it.
No postage, cash on collection only.
Same with Gumtree.
Never agree to post any item, it's not set up for that.
Second bike is always the better option. I'm keeping my old Amish enduro for precisely that reason. I've had a good few crashes at uplift places and I don't want to worry about damaging an expensive e-bike.
Had an email to say The 160 action team that was supposed to be arriving week 26 has been pushed back another month 🙄
Anyone managed to get hold of one in size large?
I hate quick release axles on the rear. I had a similar issue on a different bike and swapped for a non quick release that I could torque tighten and put a dab of locktite on.
With 170mm travel up front it's definitely in the enduro category.
Not to say it can't be used for flowing trails, but that's a lot of unnecessary travel if it's not gonna be put to use.
