I am looking for a lightweight armoured jacket kinda thing, not too robocop, that I can wear every day, a lot of commuting, but good for some downhill and general biking. I am fairly milquetoast as a biker, but with an armoured jacket, who knows?
I am looking at the action pro mk 2 shirt. Maybe...
Where did you hear that? You might be right, I dunno.
I am in zürich, a few decent 800m hills 10 mins away, a stunning lake, 2 beautiful river valleys, community heating powered by garbage (take that, putin), and low low inflation! I have a fun little forest/urban downhill to do every day after...
cheers for the advice, I wouldnt say I stay glued in that position, more a case of flattish when normally I would keep the outside fully down. I have mostly ridden on fireroads or tarmac roads with no suspension. I wrecked the pedals that came with the bike, just not used to the compression. I...
Come now, the Scotchman speaks the truth, who can argue with A) looking where you are going, and B) having a plan for at least the next 10secs.
But I get it, sometimes instinct kicks in.
I am somewhat new to big travel fs, so I am constantly surprised how low my BB is. I have to unlearn keeping...
Might this be a case for plastic welding? I was a bit sceptical at first, but it seems it works. I dunno if it might work for this plastic, but you could reinforce it with steel mesh, like this video, around 6.30 in this video:
Thanks for the replies, guys.
That video is quite helpful, thanks. As Gary said, Mr Marsh did quite a few things that she didn't do. I had the feeling that brake fluid going down might not automatically push all the air out of the bottom. Interesting tidbit about the brake oil boiling, that...
In the end, I decided to stick with flats to improve my technique, so I got shimano pd-gr500s, they look cool on my my bike, and they are much grippier than my old cheapo pedals. I was gonna get nylon maxim knockoffs, but the girl in the shop advised me to get metal ones. Even though she seemed...
cheers for the reply. I am new to full sus.
I kinda like the freedom of flats, I don't slip too often, but I am more used to getting air with spds, its getting better, but I can't get the hang of pumping the back end for air. The saints look quite flat, might work with normal shoes too, maybe?
I am used to spd on a light mtb, though a heavy ebike might be a different proposition.
What are the pros and cons? I have been using the crappy but adequate metal flats that came with my bike, but I noticed there is a bit chunk of metal missing from one of the side bars, so I was looking for...
Actually, I got it to work by adding it to mural, but it adds a load of edits and stupid fx and shitty music, i cant get rid of this stuff, but I found out how to tilt it, and get rid of the music.
Thanks for the reply.
Actually, I don't necessarily want full res, I just want to edit it, but the app won't let me. I saw a video from gopro on changing the horizon, which said I needed to download the clip from the gopro to the iphone, which I did. It has a blue checkmark. But Every time I tap...
Hi, I am trying to change the horizon, but it won't let me do it on the preview, I have downloaded the clip to the iphone, but I can't seem to switch to the full res clip, I have clicked everywhere, and googled a good bit.
I got some of these sks as a bit of a stopgap, but they are actually quite good, front screws into steerer tube, back held pretty solidy with a strap, I was not so keen on zipties as a fixing, plus it's fixed to the frame, not to moving suspension, so less vibration, I imagine. I don't have a...
