OK, I'll say it, Brendog got robbed. That was a podium ride if ever I saw one. Exposure, tricks, style it had it all. Beat out by a caveman.......two of them actually
Edit: Another thing that has developed in the last 8 hrs. is that there are some RedBull "highlight" reels being posted and I...
Caught Brendog's canyon gap first attempt on I gram and he nailed it.....if you watch their build video's it looks impossible and kudos to the boy and his crew for even thinking it could be achieved. For sure will be tuned in on Friday!
I have been through the Narrows many times going back and forth to AK to commercial fish on Purse Seiners for salmon. Back in the late 70's with a 58' wooden boat made in the 40's with only an Iron Mike and a radar and a Cap Hansen's book to the Inside Passage I still wonder how we made it....In...
And then there is my reality.....
I have had better more organized work shop environments in my life but for where I am at these days this works well enough.
I don't have a picture but there is a gal on Igram that posts pics of her dog that she has trained to find Chanterelle mushrooms....they grow here and we use our bikes to get into areas that people normally can't get to on foot but I know that we ride by patches all the time and that dog would...
Saw my first episode of TPB's in a hotel room in Vancouver 19 years ago when I was delivering my son for his first year at Uni from CO.. It was the Green Bastard episode IIRC? Did some research when I got home and found a DVD set, as they didn't broadcast in the U.S. at that time and got hooked...
Being a little older, I am very fortunate to have someone call and check on me every day. He is from India and is very concerned about my car warranty.
I choked on a carrot this morning, and all I could think of was, "I'll bet a doughnut wouldn't have done this to me."
Nothing spoils a good...
The bigger TQ motor is a bit of a watt hog. Here is an older thread that might provide some beta for you?

Eh BC? My kid has made his home there after attending UBC and although they live in East Van and have city jobs the access to wild places is easy enough. He likes to stream fish and gets back in to some cool places with unpronouncible names with the eBike I set him up with. I like to visit but...
My pic of the day is showcasing my new to me 06' Honda Odyssey Van. My red Chevy blew a head gasket so off to Carvio it goes. Vehicle prices are through the roof here in the US and I am glad that my days of the need to have a really dependable newish rig are behind me and cheap vehicles still...
As the parent of a son who at about that age landed himself in a chair as a Quad doing the wrong thing at the wrong time I couldn't make it through that video....he is luckier than he knows.
Well it took awhile to wade through the semi's and final orders but you can't say in the end that it didn't disappoint. Some gnarly crashes as well as seemingly senseless ones in that grass left hander, sealant sprays and resulting flat tires, and in the end the Irish lads prevailed which hardly...
I don't know how you SoCal boys keep your bikes so clean....up here in the OR mine looks way less so. But you are right they are fun bikes with some tweaks from stock.
There seems to be no stopping Vali and she is chill enough to deserve all she achieves. She is my pick for sure.
Men wise it could be one rock tap too many to tell who will get top step. Hopefully the top contenders can keep air in their tires as well as the rubber side down with tight times up...
If as you say the natural tendency of the Volma is to want to lean into corners then you might explore the use of countersteering? Or maybe you already do but I know it works on motorcycles that like to lean and I have used it to good effect on bikes with + tires on the front.
