You should try and get into their event on 12/9 that will be featuring the mid drive? It is RSVP and contact info from their site is How can we help?
Report back here of course!
Bimotal is a company that first came out with this concept which you may have or not seen and discounted as not MTB appropriate?
Just received notice today that they have been developing a mid drive that has some impressive, if they are to be believed, specs,
In a relatively compact design...
Not really sure what you are asking here? There are so many ebikes out now in every different model from commuter to gravel, to full suspension that it is really up to the consumer to at least get into the ballpark for their needs?
That said after a few years with an M620 motored bike that I...
Very disappointing for us here in the US for sure. I have been using a VPN to access GCN+ for events not available here and waiting to figure out what the new plan is? I am thinking that still using the VPN I will have to subscribe to Discovery + but not sure what level of subscription I will...
I never followed through and my lust for the SRAM transmission faded as I found a suitable option that was much cheaper but will be interested in how your order turns out?
The 2.25 spike tyres should be fine. Rode similar Hakkapalitta spiked tires on my town bike for years when I lived in cold country. Adjust your psi according to your weight and riding style the lower the better.
If you are riding in deeper snow they will still work but at some point there...
Thanks but I got what I needed from an industry contact in the end. I got the XT derailleur, 11/50 Cassette (which is pretty stoutly built) and as long as I was in with the hookup I got three chains. Didn't need the shifter but the inside guy was pretty sure I would in the end.
Came the other...

That is one ugly bike. Using a Brose motor is a cop out as if Honda engineers couldn't come up with their own. Guess you could say I'm not impressed.......
I had a cush core lever but broke it the other day and is what led me to look further. It is hard enough to fit a slim lever in between the bead and the rim at the last and I found the bulk of the cush core lever to be a problem overall.
Kind of a necro thread and not specific to eBikes but I just got these and they work really well. I had been using a quick clamp to hold the beads in place but these work better.
The struggle is real and this system at least gets it done without swearing and sweating.
There are quite a few companies, that have provided and still do, legally compliant bikes ranging from FS to Step Through models with the M620 although they are more consumer direct focused perhaps. One thing for sure is that they are still being offered today whereas the TQ Flyon, that took...
"Well you need to take in consideration that the tq motor is by far the most aggressive and powerful motor ever to be fitted on a emtb."
Not so. The Bafang M620 is capable of running easily at 3000w with an aftermarket controller and half that with the stock controller. Big difference is that...
