Real life logistics of riding using two batteries and one Emtb?

Time to get the tape measure out old mate and see if it's physically possible. Then I would contact JD who is our master 3D print designer to make a mounting then find a stash spot on the trails. A bit of logistics but doable.

My wife booked a surprise wellness honeymoon when we got married in Austria, very much surprised at everyone getting around butt naked, at least you got to keep your pants on!

    2nd hand ebikes

I was talking to my Specialized LBS yesterday about this, he won't trade 2nd hand bikes as he then must guarantee for 12 months, now this could be a Swiss consumer law thing (which only applies to business). The big gamble is with the battery (2018 about Chf1000) can show good health but still...

    Scott Strike eRide 710 now or wait a bit and get a Focus Jam2 6.8/Whyte E-150 S

Normally this would be the case but given the popularity and supply issues I am not so sure that they will have excess stock that they will discount to clear this year. Also factoring in the price rise in 2019 it will maybe bring it back to 2018 retail prices. No doubt the 2019 arguably rides...

    Scott Strike eRide 710 now or wait a bit and get a Focus Jam2 6.8/Whyte E-150 S

I think that is worth a serious look, I am 186cm and comfortable on a large 2018, if there was an expert for 4k then that would be my ultimate choice. Set of 29s for trails and spare 500w battery you would still be under 5k.

Upgrading 2018 Pike to 2020 Lyric Ultimate - Is it worth it

Pity we don't have Rockshox represented here by some company rep. If dyno testing was a possibility then ruling out some individual tech fault for your forks would be a good starting point. More than a few of us here are following these threads to try and (individually) value internal upgrades...

Upgrading 2018 Pike to 2020 Lyric Ultimate - Is it worth it

Finally got around to getting a digital tyre pressure gauge and was running about 18psi in the front thinking it's more and debating replacement tyres to get a better feel and steering. Now at 24 steering is much improved but my hands are paying the price! So maybe lower pressure with cushcore...

Dry graphite powder should help, not so easy to find but adding it to oil or grease on open bearings on my kid's bikes makes a difference but use it dry on plastic. Like this. Kasp 50g Dry Microfine Graphite Powder Lock & Padlock Lubricant | Electrical World

I was aware of ebike hate / jealousy but I thought opinions were changing

We are lucky in Switzerland, walkers and horse riders hate anyone on any sort of bike so Emtbs don't get singled out!

    MTB Clothing

I like my bike gear but it is a bit mix and match best accumulated over time. I did pass a new Levo S-Works last week with the (120kgish) rider in full lycra, WTF it is not as if there aren't enough Levo haters already! I have a pair of Dainese shorts (without logo) 20yo still as good as when...

Carbon rims on a 2019 Levo

I was but 3k for a set of wheels is a piss take! I have no doubt that they will perform better but the cost of production can only be a fraction of the retail price, if you look at going from aluminium frame to carbon is 500 to 1000 then 3k for wheels makes me scratch my head.
