I have a Nissan Navara double cab, a few years old but works well with a blanket over the tailgate. It's the old model but not sure the new ones are any better, the v6 is the best and fuel economy is almost the same.

Wet roots are one of my many poor skills!
I posted then searched and you post came up so I thought it was relevant to both threads.
Given how some people have raved over DHF and I could get one for next to nothing I thought it was worth a try but was surprised by the lack of difference on roots.
Missed this but it answers my question in another thread.
Random thoughts while riding yesterday with my new DHF not gripping wet roots any better than the Butcher I took off. Everyone has an opinion about tyre pressures but what are we trying to achieve with tyre pressures? There again there...

I had my son's brakes flushed in Les Gets as he was having similar problems, I thought it was air but he had cooked the fluid. Mechanics advice was its not uncommon and a lot of sludge came out. How he rode for a day with no back brakes I have no idea!
The butchers are ok but not the best, I replaced the front tyre and will run them out on the back at about 26.28 psi (95kg kitted up) . Then they are predictable and roll good, I need good grip in the front to cover my lack of skills!
If she is not too familiar with bikes then it's possible she pulled the front brake instead of the rear sending her over. Best training is to disconnect the back brakes and she will learn pretty quick ;-)))
When it comes to a lot of things the internet is your enemy, too much information and opinions! I have been convinced a few times that my bikes need this or that upgrade. Case in point, I spent the last 2 weeks at Les Gets are Livigno at bike parks on a 2002 Specialized Enduro which I had...
We went to Livigno after Les Gets for another week of punishment and didn't even ride my Emtb. Being a tight ass, I never considered renting a bike but given the amount of lifts in both places and availablity of rental bikes and difficulty of battery transport if you fly I would leave the Emtb...
So after 10 years replaced the brakes and serviced the suspension and it has been smashing Les Gets this week! But I have had a few funny and admiring looks this week. Those old 66s feel better than my Rockshox revolutions so I might not leave it so long before the next service.
