Yellow Jersey, my home insurance may have covered it but yellow jersey also give you third party insurance depending on which level you buy . I have 3 ebikes insured with them.

I think I read that article as well, but it kind of falls flat as motorcycles have a much smaller rear disc, same with the other motorbike disciplines.
So you know how much bumpf is added to mtbs each year, new-better-faster-stronger, and...
Halfords scratch repair works well.
I had a twat lock his bike next to mine and he somehow managed to kick and bend my derailleur hanger, it was bad enough for me to have to set them up again at the roadside.

My dad's waiting for one too, he could get an older gen bike but he's decided he'd rather wait for the new Bosch smart system and just keep riding his normal bike, he's not doing bad for a 74 year old and I'm not looking forward to trying to keep up with him once he gets the emtb! 😄
Mine showed OK in the local map which made me think it only worked with map areas you own.
If yours isn't showing them on the map you own then it's probably not that.
I'm still undecided, I have one of each.
On one hand it's a nice auto mode, on the other, it's a pain in the arse when I just just want a bit more assist than eco but don't want emtb.
I'm coming down on the normal tour mode side as I prefer being in control.
Your arse will thank you!
I started with a Cube HT, then borrowed my dads FS and that just ruined me so I found a FS Orbea.
You can ride both in the same terrain, you just tend to be a bit more careful about line choice with the HT and that's not a bad thing, you'll also get more pedal strikes...
As long as the centre lock ring is tight and no wear is taking place I'd say the centre lock is stronger.
I'm an engineer by the way so I'm not just pulling this out of thin air, however I've not done any calculations so maybe I am 😄
I've been using the multi release and prefer being clipped in, and I highly recommend using them if you give spd a try.
Happy using both flats and spd though but I prefer being clipped in.
Been using mudguards since getting my ebike and wouldn't ride without them, I'm reasonably clean when going for a brew in a cafe and my bikes easier to clean afterwards.
Personally I couldn't give a toss how the bike looks with them, I probably look a right dick with my miss matching riding...
I've been using the Pilo one since early September, I managed to loose the bike in a ditch hidden by bracken and had to adjust the rear mech a little to carry on but that's been the only time I've had a problem so far.
I changed it as I was fairly certain the original was bent from new and I...
🙄 I think you're taking the piss now 🙂
No, rear wheel spinning fast then turn the crank slowly forwards.
With my rear wheel spinning I can pull or push my chain as much as I want and it doesn't move the cranks at all.
Put your bike in a work stand, select a high gear and give the pedals a few quick turns, now turn the pedals slowly forwards. That clicking noise is your rear freewheel spinning inside the rotating cassette, this is exactly whats happening as you free wheel down hill.
Now with the rear wheel...
