Bum bag, phone in the most protected section, and keys in a side pocket on a clip made for the job.
I also carry some tools etc in there too. I could never get on with a rucksack on a motorbike so there's no chance on a mtb.
My understanding is - the 85nm is a maximum, the assist levels are related to the effort you put in, and the 250w is an average over a given time period.
BMBO run mtb orienteering events and have an ebike class. It works well as you choose your own route so we don't generally get in each others way.
The more relevant part is the the fast riders are nearly as fast up hill has people on ebikes, but they are way faster on the flat. This weekend I...
My dad's still using the original 12 speed shimano cassette at 3k km, several chains and he's just changed the chain ring.
Just use it with new chains until the small sprockets start slipping, then fit the whole lot. All this crap about so many chains per cassette doesn't mean anything, if you...
My dad likes Carbon frames, and has used them for years with no problems, he's also repaired them using repair kits and they've gone on to be used for years after the repair. He will not use carbon wheels or bars though, he's broken rims and had to walk home, and personally been there when...
Fit a larger front sprocket, that'll make you run higher up the cassette for the same gearing. Don't forget that the smaller sprockets on the cassette also wear faster, so running on a larger rear sprocket will also help it last longer.
Both my emtb have done over 2000 miles on the same 12 speed...
I think Stans is just about the best sealant, my dad (75) got a 7mm slit in his tyre while we were riding along a forest track, Stans sealed it. My mucoff sealant couldn't manage a normal large puncture.
I bought my Orbea from them in 21, easy transaction and the bike arrived on time, nothing has gone wrong on it yet so I've no idea how good their backup is though.
I'm 6'3" and my dad is 6', we both have XL sized Orbea Wild FS which came with 160 cranks, after a bit of idle discussion we both decided to try 165 cranks, and we've both stuck with them.
I found the 160 were just to short, I was spinning and could easily reach a point were the Bosch motor cut...
I just wipe the chain with a cloth to get the thick off, then spray with GT85. When I wash the bike I try to get the chain clean, again I get the worst of the water off and spray with GT85. I'll then lub with whatever I have laying around before going for a ride.
Chain is rust free and I'm...
