Having riden OTE="Doug Stampfer, post: 357684, member: 662"]
Just gotta ask... why do you ride an ebike? My rail in eco mode is just like riding a normal bike- I feel bugger all assistance, or if anything just enough to negate the weight of the bike. I need an Ebike to keep up with my mates on...
It'll be interesting to see how far you get on the one chain, I fitted a new chain to my dads analogue bike and the smallest ring is so worn the chain jumps, but thats done about 12k km with my dad so it's had a good life.

Just think how many chains you would have saved if you didn't keep fitting them to a worn cassette. ;)
It's not worn though as I change my chains early.
However if I wanted to change the (shimano 12 speed) cassette I can't get one at the moment...
My Cube is on it's original cassette and just short of 1800 miles, I've gone through about 5 chains though, just the cheap shimano ones or kmc. The cassette looks good still too.
Cleaned and oiled after every ride unless it's completely dry and dirt free, I'm just using any oil I have laying...
This used to be a big problem years ago when Rethal aluminium bars first came out for motorbikes, they used to snap at the clamps and it was because the clamps had a sharp edge, this causes a stress point leading to the break seen in the video, I've seen it loads of times.
All you need to do is...
I have sarcoidosis and when it's active it's like someone took half my leg muscles away, I've no idea why as it effects my lymph system.
Anyway for me a full fat emtb is better, I use it in eco most of the time but then pop it up into tour or emtb if I'm feeling a bit shit.

Hi Hodge, I bought an Orbea wild fs. Nice bike but it should be for the price!
Bowderdale's a nice loop, I usually add in a few extras to make a full day of it as it's a little short for a good ebike ride.

I'm not liking tour+, I normally ride in eco with tour for harder bits, then emtb and turbo for fun. I'm finding tour+ messes up my normal rhythm as it just surges, I usually resort to tour later in a ride when my legs are flagging (60+ km rides are common), normal tour just adds a consistent...
Based near Kirkby Stephen, used to mountain bike in the early 90s and had one of the first Saracens then a few years later Raleigh Yukon.
Huge gap where life, kids and racing motorcycles took over, but bought an ebike last year and I'm loving it, if these had been around years ago I'm not sure...
