Shifter that uses fore finger instead of thumb?

As per title is there a shifter that I don't have to use my thumb for? It quite often gets sprained when I have an off & takes months to heal. Then when it heals it happens all over again. I currently have to take my hand off the bar & push with my forefingers. Current setup is SLX 12 speed but...

Yes I think you need to measure your rotor.

    New Bosch Tour + Mode

From the little information I read in that article it sounds like that's just what it is. TBH I don't really know if emtb-lite actually works on my bike as without the turbo kick feeling you get in emtb it feels relatively the same while riding. Then again maybe that's the idea of it.

    Ebike conversion

$464 AUD? That seems incredibly cheap??? I have been pricing a bafang & don't think I'd get any change out of $2k

Time to confess about dropper post !

Interesting. All my technical climbing involves climbing roots. I've found anytime I'm off the saddle the back wheel spins. I'm working on my seated climbing attack position. I'm really impressed how well these things climb - reminds me sometimes of a tank climbing up the side of a building

Time to confess about dropper post !

Isn't the idea of combining an emtb & dropper post to negate the need of having to peddle while standing?

Lower back pain after every ride. Anyone else?

I like this guys approach to helping injury less stretching- more muscle strength. I do the exercise at 4:30 every time I feel tight hip flexors without weights & find immediate relief. He talks fast like an infommercial so you have to listen quickly.

seat post replace on rail 7?

I reused my existing cable. I had a few troubles with it though & found the cable sheath end not quite fitting in to the recess for it (you'll see what I mean if it happens to you). It's quick enough to try & see if it works. Remember to drop the battery & undo the cable clamps so the cable can...

    2019 Cube Stereo Hybrid 160

I found the shockwiz good but frustrating. I found it changing for each different track - esp frustrating when going to progressively harder tracks. A mate recommended to me to log the recommendations for each track/ circuit of tracks & adjust accordingly & when hitting the jumpy or droppy...

Trek Rail upgrades, what have you done?

There is the ignore function available to use gentlemen. SImply hover over the perpetrators name & it will magically appear. Makes for a nicer day I find.

    Bafang build....

I've got a press fit BB & am thinking of using this Lekkie BB86/92 Bafang Adapter – Lekkie Also the width of my BB is 93mm (roughly) so I think I would have to go to the BBshd which bumps the price up.

Ok i'm new to this e bike stuff but have spoke with few mates who built their own rigs

This is gonna be one of those fun threads, I can feel it.

    Rim protection

I would guess that the tannus has nothing to do with the little balls (happy to be corrected) but more the air from the tyre not sealing has caused the sealant to dry out. Try a puncture patch on the inside of the tyre to seal it then try again.

Does anyone have mono-link set to the high position on their rail?

Gotta ask what bike you'd go for now in hindsight since the 29 rail is not for you? For me the Merida looks good.

Trek Rail 2020 - Removing / Killing the Knock Block

To make it clear to those contemplating getting rid of the knock block - it is there to stop your forks hitting the downtube- your forks may hit the frame without it. If your forks move easily under the frame without hitting it, then the option is there for removing/ modifying it.

WHYTE e-160 RS v3 Or TREK Rail 9 GK

It's never occured to me that there would be bikes that wouldn't charge with the battery in? I assumed they were all like the Rail. In hindsight after having a rattly battery & only taking it out a handful of times I'm not sure if having the easy battery removal like the Rail would be that...

WHYTE e-160 RS v3 Or TREK Rail 9 GK

Ive got a Rail. Both are good. I went for the 29er - suits the tracks around here, wouldn't go back to a 27.5 now

I've been meaning to get some Santa Cruz decals printed out to put on mine, you know, just to mess with the SC crew:LOL:
