Loosen the cable clamps in the frame, pull some cable through. undo seat post and lift it out. I would leave the cable in place to use for the new seat post, easier that routing a new cable through.

I'm 6'4 and I have the XL frame with the 170mm dropper. I've got some long legs and it's almost too much for me, I have to have it inserted almost all the way to the stop. The 150mm will probably do it for you, unless you are some kind of freakish giant

Do you know your inside leg measurement? I have my 120mm dropper sticking out the frame around 50mm and it’s in the correct place for pedalling when it’s up, but too high when it’s down and it’s in the way a bit. I figured a 170mm post would be better, but I’m only 6ft...

I had a Large with a 170mm, and am almost 6ft 2” tall. I still had the post out about 25mm

My Levo SL is and XL with a 170mm dropper, and I need it as far down as possible to make it work!

I’m currently running 180mm One Up dropper on Large frame. 5’11 tall with long legs and it’s still raised around 4cm’s. Stock 120mm dropper was horrible?

I have a step length of 82cm and want to install a 150 seat post.
I just need to know how to replace them the easiest.

Replacing cable actuated dropper with another similar is very simple. Just release the cable from the trigger and pull the dropper + cable out. Switch cable to new dropper and push it back to cable housing. Only thing what you need to do is to push housing deep enough to frame from front so that you can see it from the seat tube when putting it back together.

Just added the 180mm OneUp v2 dropper to my new XL Trek Rail that came with 130mm, way too short of a drop. Works perfectly with full 180mm (no adjusters in), maybe 15mm above lowest position. I am 6' 5" , but not so long in the legs. A great upgrade, and easy to do.

The Rail is 31.6mm. No idea what the Trance is but it should be marked on the seatpost.

Hi, just curious if you used the exiting cable or replaced with the one that came with the One Up. Receiving mine today and just debating if its worth the extra hassle to reroute the new cable or just use the existing one. i.e. if you used the existing one...have you had any issues? thanks

I reused my existing cable. I had a few troubles with it though & found the cable sheath end not quite fitting in to the recess for it (you'll see what I mean if it happens to you). It's quick enough to try & see if it works. Remember to drop the battery & undo the cable clamps so the cable can move up & out of the seat tube - almost a two person job feeding the cable back down & out past the motor.
Also I had to replace the lever with a better one as it required a lot more pressure to drop the seat - the trek one didn't have enough leverage.

I have the Large frame. The sizing is great, but do these other droppers work easier than the stock one? Its been a while since I had a dropper post.
Mine I have to push it down inline or it sticks. Even if I'm sitting on it it sometimes doesn't drop unless I wiggle to the 'middle' of it with my weight.
I sat on one bike at the LBS with the wireless dropper and that almost took out the twins when extending it.

I reused the factory cable when I installed my OneUp 210mm. Zero Issues, You just have to release the Cables brackets so u can pull the post out with current cable attached. It took me 5 minutes
