A very quick & easy way to test is to cut 3 or so 20mm strips of thin foam & wrap them around the battery & insert. I have taped some permanently inside the compartment & noticed a lack of noise when I tried it first time. Just make sure you have the battery fully inserted properly & locked in...
I filed off the knock block tab & the only 'problem' I've found is the bars turn 180deg when on the bike rack. I've go a Rail 7 Large. The forks don't hit.
While you're young- yes, however after practising it for a few years now I regard it just as maintenance & more to do with strength in muscles not used in normal day to day life & not so much about flexibilty. Nothing stops the effects of aging however yoga can help you stay a bit more mobile &...
Isn't it amazing the whole conversations you can have with yourself in those microseconds before impact. I had one the other week as I watched in slow motion the earth rising up to me
"Why did I take the chin bar off?"
"Cos you only needed it for the grade 5 trail not this easy bloody grade 2...
After following PhillyGs advice I have run thin strips of foam around the battery to stop the rattle sound. If you do this grab the edges of the battery & give it a good yank to make sure it's locked in there firmly before riding.

Have a look at Kyle & Aprils vids on you tube if you want some great advice.
I've found going from an analogue bike to EMTB with more momentum that when you finally come to land you've over shot the landing by about a metre.
Be interesting to see how you get on after a few rides- whether it softens & falls off easy like my DHFs did after a couple of months. Just fitted a DHR on the back which was a hell of a lot easier. Maybe I've pounded the rims so much that they are a lot smaller now ?
Felt your buzz bro well done!
Good vid but a bit of feedback, I notice some POV vids on YT are quite blurry at speed & often makes me switch off if theres too much of it. I don't know much about the filming process dunno if you need a gimbel or better camera to get the best footage but what...
Is it just me or are other people noticing a lot of threads recently being dredged back up that were asked & answered years ago? We must be getting near saturation point with EMTB issues that we have to revisit them again :geek:
Yes you guys over in the UK must be great water & mud proofing product testers judging by some of the pics. I It's funny over here it's really frowned upon riding any tracks while they're wet but I guess sometimes you don't have a choice over there. Great looking prduct BTW.
