I'd agree with this, 28c was probably that temp when I was wearing it at stin. Boiling hot day but bearable.

It's heavy, it's too warm to wear unless you're doing uplifts but the padding does overlap under the zip. It's obviously not as thick there but you'd need to land on a spike for it not to protect. The majority of it is like an inch thick of padding and Kevlar.

Just to throw one more out there... This is what I wear😂 Only on uplift days - antur stiniog, revs, bpw, Llangollen etc. It's saved me several times. Everything is the highest spec CE2 or better and the coverage is immense. I use my own elbow pads though. It fits under a jersey as well, doesn't...

It helps to put an inner tube in first. Leave it pumped up overnight then remove and put sealant in, you'll find the tyre will seat much easier.

I've just bought a DH bike and it's so much better to work on with the cables routed on the outside of the frame. The cube e-bike has those irritating headset routed cables, absolutely stupid idea practicality wise.

I couldn't have a brand New bike sat there that I couldn't ride for 8 months, would drive me crazy!

There's no way I'd waste half of the warranty with it just sat there not being ridden. Buy when you're ready to ride.

I think the warranty is transferable and pretty decent so gives piece of mind. It's a shame though they don't have Bosch motors as an option.
