The problem is when selling anything there are so many time wasters and people who mess about that although you may have agreed a price the seller would be happy to sell at, without a deposit it's first come first served.
The guy before you was first to go see it unfortunately.
How I play it is...
Supply and demand. There was a global shortage 18 months ago, prices went silly because of it.
Supply has now outstripped demand and the knock on effect is it's now a buyer's market where cheap deals can be had.
I've not sold anything recently so not sure how much more difficult it's become but I'll mention it's on gumtree/FB market place in order to get messages through there instead.
Get it on eBay & FB marketplace. Make sure your ad has plenty of pics and well written with all the important info.
You'll reach a much larger audience.
Open the quick link of your old chain and lay the chain out in a straight line on the floor. Do the same with the new chain, have them next to each other. You can see exactly which link you need to remove to get the new chain the right length.
The voice directions on komoot/trail forks were good enough that I could turn the screen off and just listen to them. Would stop now and again to check the screen but found them surprisingly good.
If you disable WiFi, data, network and just have GPS on that really helps the battery as well. Gpx...
