Nice day in Glos, maybe only one this week so made the most. Natural hazards; some friendly . .
Lots of fallen trees - bridge over this one also crossed a ditch with no bail-out and a bit of a drop that's worse than it looks. Bridge was made of rotten slippy branches which was interesting with...
On my 2022 H15 it has the small handlebar LCD display . . but it doesn't show mode when riding. You have to stop and go to the menu option for assist and selecting that then shows mode 1 or 2. It's a PITA and not obvious - Orbea set the lower power mode when supplying and owners not knowing this...
For sure it's nice to have it for those occasions so if a dealer will unlock it for free then go for it - presume it doesn't affect warranty if a dealer does it.
The difference in distance between the mounting holes is obvious, so it changes the geometry, leverage, throw etc. I replaced a similar linkage on a motorbike rear suspension and the difference was like night and day.
I adjusted mine to 85nm but after trying it I dialled it back to standard, and only very rarely use 60nm as 30/40/50 gives me a perfect balance of range/assistance for longer rides. I just wish the software gave 4 or 5 power levels to choose rather than 3 over 2 modes which seems pointless. I...
Has to be a registered business and not the local woodlands working group . .
After a couple of email exchanges they helpfully advised me that they could send it to my local corner shop . . sorted!
Depends on the geometry of the new link specifically how the holes are aligned compared to the OE one. Can you even get 10mm extra travel without it raising the BB?
I don't think the 29 wheel size vs 27.5 will make any difference so long as the dropper goes down far enough when you stop/start - I can't touch the ground with my toes when the seat is up in the riding position.
Orbea Rise battery is built in, removal means dropping the motor. This design means a lighter down tube which is good, but not ideal for winter storage and/or replacing. Not a deal-breaker for me . . yet.
If it's out of guarantee I'd drop the motor and spray everything with silicone/WD40 spray to get rid of any moisture, disconnect, clean and reconnect all cables then spray/apply ACF50.
