I have to remove the front wheel - made a small stand that goes under the motor/BB to support the bike whilst removing/refitting it. So much less hassle now . .
Strava shows heatmaps for trails going downhill from The Pludds in FoD but a local thinks Forest England may have closed some off - anyone ridden that way this year?
Sorry can't help, but it does seem to be something that others comment on. My H15 also has more flex than I expected but doesn't cause me any issues. Not seen a solution anywhere either.
Great bike, I got one without a test ride and TBH I havent seen anything else I'd rather have at the price. Range is great - on eco over mixed rails I can get 80 miles. I changed front disk for 203mm for steeper/faster descents.
I agree, zero drag from the motor when switched off, just a heavier MTB which you only notice on an incline.
And STunlocker is much better than the standard Shimano app.
Close to 1000 miles on my H15 which I got in spring and just replaced the OE chain. Tyres are fine for dry/mixed trails here but will look at something different when they are worn, maybe Ikon to save some grms. Zero issues and loving the way it goes - range is amazing. I changed bars to ones...
You might already know this; if you look at Strava activity (yours or anybody's), click on the map you can then zoom/pan it to the FoD and it will show trails ridden. The more they are ridden the deeper blue they are. The MTB centre trails are the most intensely used, and if you pan to the S you...
Interesting, I just had a day out with a mate ( similar fitness) on a Merida and he stalled on a couple of tricky rocky climbs which I cleaned on my Rise. I'm sure the slight difference on weight makes a difference on steep tricky stuff. Even more surprising after 6hrs mixed riding we both had...
How much will you have to lift it onto a rack, over gates or into a vehicle? You might appreciate the lighter M10 . . but OTOH there are lighter ebikes at that price.
TBH I'm just amazed anyone can be so triggered by discussing a free and easy addItional display option which they would be under no obligation to ever look at . .
And another thing, why have 3 power levels in mode 1 and 3 more in mode 2? Why not just have 6 levels available without stopping to change mode??
Ah, I know why, judging by the neanderthals on here there's a lot who struggle to count that high 🤣🤣🤣
