Measured with a feeler gauge , the gap between cogs is between 2.1 and 2.2mm.
Cog spacing (centre to centre) 4.2mm
An additional observation from a ride last week: I usually wipe down and lube the chain every 30 - 40 kms. (Muc off C3 is my choice)
Last week I did a shorter 20km ride , didn't...
I would like some level of assistance on my 25kg bike , even if it's pointed down hill. I have my Eco mode set just enough to neutralise motor drag and offset the weight of the bike. It's the closest the bike gets to feeling like a regular MTB for the times when that's my preference.
To your...
Somebody buy Lyle a sharpie ! Not saying Maxxis is the problem , but come on !
Shame about the weather , regardless Charlies run was legit and a deserved win. Andy Kolbs reaction as he met his teammate at the finish was fantastic.
Crap race with a happy ending 😁
I would be satisfied with 1300 miles from a chain and cassette and happily replace those items before fussing over anything else. Especially considering the skipping is happening in the smallest cogs where drivetrain wear will become evident first.
That said , finnicky 12 speed tuning can be...
I recently fitted PNW Range bars . 31.8 , 30mm rise , alloy , cut to 780 wide. Paired with a Funn equaliser stem , 35mm , 10 degree lift.
These replaced 20mm rise bars and a zero rise 30mm stem.
The bars have a great feel , slightly more backsweep and very nice compliance over high speed...

Review: First up , some context for this review.
I have been riding MTB since 1999 , EMTB since 2017. My current bike is a Mondraker Crafty RR 2022 model. I am 57 years old.
I...
My personal choice would be the Mondraker for these reasons:
I prefer Bosch to Shimano
I dont need a 900wh battery , 750 is already plenty for my needs.
I don't need a carbon frame , fussing over weight on a full fat ebike is like only eating half a donut because you're "watching your...
I have live timing up on a second monitor. If you're watching the stream on the big screen , maybe get live timing up on your phone. It has all the info you need and is clear and easy to read.

Pretty crazy race what with the changing conditions and gnarly...
I watched a few helmet cams from Mountain of Hell this week. Always entertaining !
Hows this guy , sliding on his hands and knees backwards while 800 riders come barreling down the glacier towards him at 80-100kmh!!
I watched a bit of the xc last night. Ric commentating with Bart and the slower pace of the racing is more tolerable. They work well together, Bart has always been very good.
Another encouraging sign I took away from this round regarding the broadcast team , was seeing the presenter (Kate?)...
During the event , Im finding the live timing has all the info I need and it seems to work well so far

Im not sure what they have been like as far as getting results up after the event but the layout and access here seems pretty decent: UCI MTB World Series...
I'm nowhere near sold on the commentary yet , those 2 offer no insight into what's going on , it seems like sometimes they aren't even watching what's going on.
I am happier with ambient sound , I've got live timing on another monitor so I can see who's coming up and overall standings.
As...
